Nope, no joy. 
Rebooted the whole rig but still says I don't have the 3rd party mod installed??
Had a run around on Demolition mode as suggested, it's actually really good fun! As expected I suck, but that's all good.

This must be an issue for devs - at the end of the day they have to sell lots of copies, and if they make a game too hardcore then they won't. Just as well there are still old (made when men were men
) games that take skill.Not having a pop at people such as yourself who genuinely can't spend time perfecting their skills like a pro, but I think a concurrent issue is that a lot of people simply can't be a****. Bl**** society
As far as my opinion on CS:GO goes based on my experience in the beta, it's just not my thing. I've gone from BC2 to Quake Live, which is obviously a faster paced game, and CS seems to be a move in the other direction. I think it's great that it seems like people are enjoying it though, as it gives a bit of hope for more 'proper' shooters. I might buy it just to show support for the cause.

How are you doing it? Server browser - favourites - add server - then typing in the IP and pressing search/add?

Anyone else getting "You do not have this 3rd party mod installed" error when trying to connect to servers direct?
I've googled it and it's not an entirely unheard of issue and seems to affect a few steam games.
Only solution I've seen is that the servers need updating, but that doesn't help!

Was pretty fun til my ping started to rocket and make it unplayable, time for some MOTD then I may be back on later if anyone is up for a few games.

No this is an update, you can only see when you are dead and it's only your team mates.Im not up to date on this game but noticed a 'glowing' round players (thru walls) on one server. Is this a hack already??
