Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC expansion

There is so much in night city to see and just drive around at different times of the day. Plus, there are shards and things to find that aren't on the map, you only find them by exploring, so reading those shards and getting a glimpse into the life of NC citizens and stuff.

Plus just like with GTA, it's fun just driving around finding gangs and fighting them, and now can do that with the cops or the random gang fights that happen or car chases lol.

Yeah. I will likely keep it installed to mess around in after I complete the dlc just like Starfield.

Can't see me doing a fresh playthrough any time soon. It just ain't feeling it for some reason. I am enjoying the dlc though.

Did they ever make those little arcade cabinets Playable? I recall everything looking nice, but actually you couldn't interact with bloody anything.
So once I'd done the main story and the good side quests there was no reason to keep playing.

I actually played one of the arcade machines from a mission quest, well it wasn't to play it but saw and and went to see if i could - it was a 2D platformer, run and shoot baddies while extracting civilians. Actually played for a good few mins, was fun - super easy and actually had levelling in the game.

I'm doing my first proper playthrough of this game (and loving it). I am getting close to being finished with all the side missions, which I've been doing before meeting Hanako at Embers (point of no return). I was planning on getting Phantom Liberty after fully completing the game. However, after looking into it, the advise seems to be to start PL at around the point in the game I'm at now i.e. just before meeting Hanako at Embers. That means I should be buying and starting PL now, is that right or should I play through the entire game first and then buy and play PL?

Cheers

I'm doing just that, got the Embers mission then went to do the Voodoo boys which opens up PL.

Unless it's changed with the release of PL, once you complete final game Embers mission you get dropped back into the game before that point of no return. So you can do it again or just carry on with the rest of stuff to do.

There might be an 'ideal' order to do things in but doesn't matter IMO. The only annoying thing is the Embers mission tracking is the default mission it keeps pushing towards everytime you complete a smaller mission.

I completed the 'Hanako at Embers' mission right before starting PL, but since you return to before the point of no return I'll just do the Embers end game again after PL. Unless someone here says I've got it all wrong :)

More than likely, I have a lot of eddies saved from side missions now and also just exploring looting stuff. My Edgrunner build is coming along nicely:

This save has 50 hours clocked now, about 15 of those are of update 2.0 for reference, the rest since Phantom Liberty came out.
TBF my 13.5hours is purely from scratch a fresh save doing PL. I deleted my old CP save months ago on my 2nd playthrough as I got bored, funnily enough around the same amount of hours I've put into PL - but this IS better.
Haven't done any Edgerunner stuff yet? Is that just side quest stuff or what? I forget what it is haha!

That's based on the stuff you do around missions and overall progress, 90 on Edgerunner is the highest until you do a certain ending from what I gather. There's a thread onr eddit about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkg...ompleted_the_game_100_except_one_achievement/

Did the intro to the DLC last night, went full Gray Fox on the Chimera with my sword :D

A very solid opening so far, the 5x Wrist rocket burst ability is just bonkers for me as I'd already invested into using them heavily along with blades. I think when I unlock having a third charge for them I'll be able to just use them as much as I want, the time to power up/shoot against the cooldown means with two charges I'm only waiting a couple of seconds at most to replenish a charge.

Hmm is my last segment bugged to the point I'm screwed? The cables cannot be scanned and there's no prompt to disconnect, I have already done the other rooms and this is the last bit!

Oh and yes, for some reason the torch that comes with the diving suit that you put on to get to the underground complex did not turn off after I removed the suit and it's been on the whole time lmao.
