Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC expansion

Started playing it with a controller recently as I am just using the Ketana sword. Enjoying it more than I expected. Also due to the graphics and atmosphere in places using a controller can be more Immersive.

Oh and driving is so much better with a controller it's unreal. Thought it was said they improved driving using keyboard and mouse? It's just as **** as it was on release as I recall

I found out that if you use the diving gear to swim into the lab after the van crashes through and creates the hole the neural room gets bugged out, also explains why the diving suit torch was always on for me. I will try loading an old save later this evening and hopefully there is one as I know the auto saves take over and you get a limited number of saves to load from :S

Edit*
Someone posted a hacky fix for the bug!!!!

It was improved, but mods make it way better. Saying that a controller is on my to buy list. Need to have some things I want for others to buy me for birthday/xmass - I'm apparently a PIA to buy pressies for

Most games are better on a controller.

Certainly anything with driving.

I played BG3 on mouse and keyboard but that was a rare thing for me.

Would not say most. For me it is maybe 50-50. I agree though, anything with a car, horse etc much better with a controller.

One of the other reasons for me was I played Starfield k&m and my fingers feel a bit tired from that so easier with a controller.

Well looks like I completed the primary part of the expansion and got the So Mi = dead ending. Now back in NC but waiting for Reed to call me, so looks like there's still a main quest direction to go, even though I got the end credits?

I haven't done lots of other side quests yet either so looks like a lot of additional hours to be had. I think I am 67 hours into this playthrough now which includes the base game up to Voodoo Boys before Dogtown takes over.

I did a LOT of gigs, and police missions, got to Lv 60 midway through PL. Plus a stealth netrunner is simply a slower playstyle, creeping about hacking peeps after a few hacks having to wait to recover RAM before continuing.

Just started a new run and am using a mod to slow my xp gains so I dont max out my level too soon.

You can hover over the perks to see what they feature, then decide the type of gameplay style you like and build a character features those perks that align with that play style.

I don't understand the upgrades in this game.

Only played about 2hrs of the dlc and got a few points to spend bit no idea what to put it in.
Attributes like Cool. Reflex etc can only be respecced once*. The Perk points you spend within those attributes can be respecced as often as you like. They are limited to tiers based on the attribute score. 4, 9, 15 or 20 opens up various perks for you to buy.

*Unless you use a save game editor

Might be the modded katana issue.

Mine has been very stable.
Correction - mine is stable other than on the car delivery missions.

I did that quest until I got to the point where another quest to steal some medical machines opens up, and that all went fine.

Seemingly since then half the time I try and deliver a car, and usually when I am nearly there after a 4+ km drive the game will crash to desktop.

Anyone else had this?

I think I preferred the old perk system. I mean, this one seemed a bit boring to me anyways.

Still much better than the crap Bethesda did in Starfield though I guess.

Its slowly growing on me, usually when you pick a perk it often has an obvious effect on game play

I didnt mind that system and I liked the fact you had to utilise the skill to unlock upgrading it.
