Are you sure on that? I've stealth killed/knocked out loads and had no weapons left behind.
Just had another go and about some but not all had weapons dropped. Tried the usual grab and kill and the quick hack kills and a mixture of drops. It crashed on me so couldn't be bothered trying again.

Anyone else getting frustrated with the complete lack of clues of what level you need to be to deal with enemies. Just got to an area where there were two separate groups of gangmembers maybe 50m away from each other. The first group I could mow down with a single Smart SMG clip, the second are practically bullet proof and can kill me in a bullet or two from range. Really bloody immersion breaking when you smash through one mob and then the next enemy is an absolute bullet sponge who can kill you instantly...
The map tells you the threat level of mobs on a given marker.

Well, it was not that intentional, I mean, I was not expecting it to be so quick to achieve... However, I have managed to get my hand cannon up to 7.8k headshot with all the multipliers. Is it a cheat? well no but at least I am not being murdered every five mins. As the Spiffing Brit did say, "perfectly balanced"

I deal with this by scanning the gang members and if the SC (street cred) level is high they're going to be tougher. Less of an issue now I've got OP af weapons.

My current build, going for the **** look :D This is about 26 hours in:

I also have this song in my head: "Judy, Judy, Judy, Judy......do yah, do yah, do yah, do yah........know what you're doing, doing to me?". :D

Well I've got my Corpo guy actually looking a bit Corpo.

Around 14hrs in when the image was taken last night. I've done another 4hrs since, but still haven't progressed the story, still just happy running around doing gigs & side quests.

I really hope they fix the issues, because this game has so much potential. Take a look at GTA 5, that was released 5yrs ago, look at how much it's evolved over that time, updates & DCL is still being released even now, this game could go the same way, IF they sort themselves out.

I'm going for the cyber samurai look, gonna need some new gear soon though as it's mostly trash!

Been playing for a couple of hours and I know its early game but seriously I can't be arsed its a bit meh play a bit more over the weekend

Getting a steady 50fps tho surprising with my gpu

is it a game which feels like its more about the graphics and scenery than the gameplay ?

I cant currently turn settings up so it looks a bit rubbish for me as well ! insult to injury!

Current bug is I now can't switch to external cam when driving.

Exit/close the game and start it again. Should work after.

The Skull above their heads is a quick hint they're higher level (but you can also scan them). Depending on your gear and skill, you may engage a few, but is... tedious. "Just RPG mechanics"/s.
However, if you receive a mission to retrieve some data, put a GPS, etc. (and not kill/kidnap a high lvl NPC), you can still do it stealthy. Quite the chalenge. :)

Normally they stay in their group, but can engage you if you're starting trouble near their camping site.

On what difficulty are you playing? If you're not going for the very high lvl guys (the ones with the skulls above their heads), it really shouldn't be that difficult playing it normal, without hunting for OP gear. :p

It's more like a story driven, open world, Deus Ex type of a game, with a bit of a... kitsch (?) / k-pop / cartoon(sh) theme (but with better shooting mechanics). Also, compared to Deus Ex which has mainly a stealthier approach, this one is orientated more towards the action. But, depending per mission, you should have different options to approach it: action (and you have loads of guns, grenades and hacking options), or stealth ( sneaking around, you have different skill checks to open gates/doors, hacking mechanics to turn off cameras and turrets, misdirect the NPCs, stealthy take downs).

Also can be quite buggy, but depends how lucky you are. At first I was very disappointed, but slowly it grew on me. I would have loved to be darker, just like Deus Ex, and not this (I don't even know how to call it exactly), stupid theme, to have more of the mechanics that an open world should have, less bugs, but hey, it would have taken another year for that.

I'm doing now a 2nd playthrough (about 91hrs +) and still enjoying it. :)

I seem to need to do this quite a bit :( bugs like missions not progressing or features randomly missing or not working but fortunately reloading the last save game or even in most cases just saving and then loading that save will sort it.

Bit of a pain and kind of annoying when you mention the game doesn't have any mention of X only for someone to point out it is there plainly - but it actually wasn't when you were playing but might appear after a restart of the game (this can include some of the information that pops up on screen to inform you of certain things you can do, etc.).

Definitely should have gone for a darker tone IMO - there are times the game can be really moody and that works well but it isn't well developed.
