*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Jokes on you...I am waiting for the 6090Ti to get the ULTIMATE performance from CP2077, so I will get a better experience than you.
I will be able to implement the latest version of DLSS (prob 6.990995 by then) meaning you will lose out.

You should wait until then to enjoy the game, otherwise it wont be worth it. The image will be too soft.
Not sure if serious

I've completely run out of things to do, not just "missions" but even exploring, I've literally scoured everywhere I'm interested in before getting unbelievably bored. I even broke INTO the Prison (located below) but you are limited to outdoors only which is meh. Whatever else patch 1.6 brings it absolutely 100% needs to bring new mission/gig content otherwise I'm done playing until they do after 300hrs ingame.

To be fair that’s a reasonable amount of content/playing time for any game. I don’t see why they would need to add more content for an absolute minority of players, there are much bigger priorities. Personally I’d rather they put all this effort into the next Witcher game.

As good as the Witcher is, I prefer being in Night City.

I'd actually like them to do way more CP then revisiting The Witcher tbh.

Yep, the story and setting are more appealing to me. I've played CP2077 for 120h since launch, which is a bit of a record for me. Still haven't gone to the Embers yet, but would like to see more in universe content for cyberpunk before I retire

You do realize this is a singleplayer storydriven game, right?

It is not intended to be played forever like some gambling skinner box live service nonsense.

You do realise CD/PR have already said they're bringing out more missions/gigs etc as part of DLC packs, right?

My point was that I hope this promised extra content starts to arrive soon, as it still hasn't been given any release dates yet and, as we're 18 months past release, as a single person game lots of people like myself will have completed it by now and, like myself, are also awaiting the promised new content.

I do hope we get more content soon as well, however at this point, even though it's 18 months past release, I guess we've got to treat it like 6 months with the amount of fixes they've had to do following release :D

Gonna be interesting how they tackle the difficulty of the next major expansion. With everyone running around with fully pimped out lvl 50 chars they will just flatten any content which isn't really jacked up

They already added 6 new gigs in the game, in addition to the apartments and other stuff.
But right now, simply play something else and wait for the expansion.

Will probably scale based on your character. After all, all those DMG numbers aren't based on something "real". The illusion of progress and character developmen, just like any other action RPG. :)

yeah was more thinking of which part of the story they will splice the content in to, it might not be right at the endgame. I think witcher 3 HoS was 30+ and B&W was 34+?, what was the max level in NG

Same here. There was nothing left to do when I was done. Purchased all vehicles etc. Waiting on the expansion before I bother.

Par the course for these types of games IMO. For me at least I really enjoyed the story, atmosphere, side gig's that once its all done and over with, very noticeable empty world feeling. Witcher 3 was broadly similar for me in that vein, B+W ending was so cool as a finish, once over just felt done. Still got plenty of good hours out of CP2077 during that time playing the main stuff.

But yeah, looking forward to new content.

Games with a story have an ending. It's inevitable. The question is whether or not it's worth the price of the game. I got at least 150 hours of play from CP2077 (I did 2 playthroughs) for my £50, so for me it was.

Come to think of it, all games have an ending. It's just that with some of them the ending is when you become bored of repetitive chores designed to make you play every day or you run out of ideas for building the nth version of your ingame home or you find a game that entertains you more.

Yeah, we get that. Point is it has been out for a while now and would have thought more content would be out 18 months on. I got my moneys worth on release :)

Well, I am very much looking forward to the expansion. But when it comes I will do a second full playthrough, with different build and lifepath and gender. I don't mind it coming in 2023 since at least the second playthrough will be fresher. And I might have a new CPU by then that lets me enable that RTGI while keeping stable 60fps.

TBH, as long as they keep people in the loop, I'd rather they took a step back and the time to rebuild the game with a fuller ray tracing implementation, weather and physics and complete overhaul of the RPG mechanics, clothing system and basically how a lot of stuff like that works to make it less clunky and more meaningful. There is a lot of solid stuff in the game but it has been badly glued together and there are tons of side-story opportunities, etc. with stuff already existing in the world which just lacks for a bit of a script, etc.
