Ah shame. Each to their own I suppose.

The game is huge with loads of quests everywhere. If one started doing the main quests only and not doing much else then I could see why they are not enjoying. If I did that I would not be having much fun either.

The fun is in going out there doing whatever you fancy. Then stumbling across faction quests which some are almost as long as the main quests from what I can see and a lot more fun imo.

It ain't a master piece or anything close and certainly I expected more even going in with low expectations. But still it is keeping me hooked so I am happy

You know what I would love to do, fly my ship to a random planet, land, get out, jump in my buggy and drive around exploring without interuption.

I will be playing HL3 before it goes release channel that's basically certain.

Nice didn't know that existed.

Seems the mod didn't impact performance a single bit really:

The 3rd screenshot shows the extra CPU utilisation, 69% use with the GPU dropping to 91%, quite decent whilst framerate remains the same variance as before. Nice.

That 2nd one was funny, was gathering a line of traffic behind me, then suddenly someone crashed into someone and an all out gang war broke out

Also I've installed the scanner green filter removal mod, makes the scanner so much better now that the green tint is removed:

Also I've now enabled the perks for jumping out of cars/biles and sliding out of them with slowmotion time so some Matrix style action

Not many have been updated yet for 2.0, I'm only using the scanner green tint removal mod and this traffic density mod.

Just managed to try out v2.0 and it's great so far. Much more polished than previous version and I'm still trying to get used to the changes. But as people have mentioned the car noises are so much better. Whether it be slamming through the auto box in a high reving car with enginge pops or the burble at idle from a V8. Love it. Also I noticed that Radeon Boost seems to be working now in this game! At first I wondered why my text was going slightly blurry when moving the mouse. It never did that in previous version. I've turned it off as it was too distracting for me. I also think graphically things just seem like they've had a nip and a tuck.

And then the fleeing civilians mow down a bunch of pedestrians possibly sparking off another gang fight

One downside to this mod is when you do some of the vehicle quests, you end up sitting in traffic jams for 2 minutes.
