I found not being able to cruise at a steady speed awkward so tried this 1.63 hack, works just fine in PL 2.0


With that holding down LShift maintains your speed in normal driving , you'll still slow down going up hills ... Pressing W will increase your speed.

That pre-order bonus car handles really well for a drifter, really easy to control the drifts vs the mega slidey Ken Block car - I like both, my fav cars in the game now lol.

Drag and drop in the mods folder in the game install location.

Also word of caution to those coming in new to 2077, when you change your cyberware implants, make sure your deck has quickhack features, because if you change to different ones that do not, then you might be wondering why suddenly you can't quick hack people or devices any more and the game doesn't make it clear that quickhacks can't be used with certain deck implants! So just be sure if you want to use quick hacks, then make sure the ware you install states quickhack abilities.

Almost all are drag and drop, a minority like the driving mod I posted earlier require you to edit a text file. You can use Vortex to mange them, I'm old school and prefer to do it manually. Unlike Starfield you wont need to add a custom.ini but depending if its a RedMod you will need to enable mods in the settings menu in the Launcher.

Typically you are adding a file to cyberpunk 2077\data or \archive or \r6 or \bin or some combination of 2 or 3.

Uninstalling simply means going into those folders and deleting the extra file(s).

There is a mod that will delete 99.9% of mods for you ( you will have to verify your files after) if you change your mind. Edits to xml or .json files will have to be manually reverted.

Generally I keep the mod zip file that way I have a record of all my applied mods and can easily use that to remove them if I no longer need that particular mod ie a better one comes along.

I've heard (no idea if its true) that there was/is a sniper rifle twitch drop
 
Hmmmm.. Purchased Cyberpunk on release. Played it for a bit but it felt so unfinished that I stopped playing and uninstalled it.

Think now might be a good time to download it again and give it another go.
