*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

From my favourite C2077 YouTube channel, Sam Bram more thoughts regarding FF06B5 and the truck reward and the methods of it reveal

Personally I'm not going for it till the solution is obtained through ingame (both C2077 and The Witcher 3) solutions

Well got a game breaking bug I’ve never had before even this week when playing with 2.0 it was ok. Game at the beginning of PL developed a auto save problem now the game won’t progress, just stuck with a glitching auto save icon can’t get past the catwalk area. Seems like an old bug but not many people have it in PL

Really enjoying the revamped blades playstyle, it's very satisfying being able to redirect a few shots back to stun/kill others just as it seems like you're vulnerable.

The mobility from the dash/air dash is insane, especially when you couple it with double jump cyberware, you can practically bunny hop around the map crazy parkour style and get to even further out of reach places.

Feels like exp gain has been increased? (at least compared to when I played at launch) I'm only at the start of act 2 but I'm level 21 already and flying through without even doing that many side quests/gigs.

Managed to disabled auto save not game playing fine with manual save.

I forgot how much I loved this game, I ran through Starfield, nothing really catching my attention, these streets I have to walk through, just absorbing the dripping atmosphere

Downloading the double pack now. Is there a guide for best settings to save time? I've got 5800x + 3080ti. Want to play 4k
Hardware Unboxed just did one for graphic settings and its effects on gpu performance. Daniel Owen has also done one on cpu limits on settings and the hit on performance

I picked up a sword and now can kill anything with 1 blow much easier than using guns

If it is a Katana be careful and don't mod it (in game mods). A couple of days ago a modded Katana made the game continue to crash for a streamer, but when he made a normal unmoded one then same attack did not crash the game. Not sure if it been fixed but thought I point it out incase your game suddenly start crashing for you.

I wouldn't worry about a guide, @alec 's nicely time-linked Youtube video gave me an extra 8% on a 5900x + 7900xt PC. I'd class that as not worth worrying about and the other 27mins of the video is just a dive into what settings do what.

Just set everything to High/Ultra non-RT and see if you're happy with that. As for Ray Tracing, on a 3080Ti it's a personal preference on what FPS hit you're happy with.

Most of the options don't make much difference performance wise sometimes don't even make much difference to visual quality. The main ones are Volumetric fog, Volumetric Cloud and Screen Space Reflections for GPU's. Crowd Density for CPU bottlenecks (18% FPS increase for a 5600X dropping from High to Low)

ok wow - compared to what I played 3 years ago, feels super polished now and runs like a dream.
I did the optimised settings as per @alec post (cheers)
Went for Raytracing and reflections on.
DLSS performance. Getting 65-85 fps. On the LG 48 OLED looks stunning.

Few minor issues - some ghosting/distant pixellation - assume this is the DLSS
ALso text is so random - sometimes unreadable, most of the time looks fine. e.g if I go into screenshot mode - txt is hard to read looks like artefacts.
