*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

For ghosting/temporal instability flaws youtube is perfectly fine for that sort of thing, anything beyond that would be meaningless anyway as you'd never notice it during gameplay.

Ahh the joys of modding, added a mod that used another mod [input loader] to alter xml files. This was incompatible with me manually altering them. Cue reverting to backups and then using a text comparison tool to figure out what had changed so I could manually alter my files back to how I wanted them.

C'est la vie

Probably going to have to figure out how to use input loader to do my changes so I can use other peoples mods with no issues.

Patch 2.01 coming soon
Created 6 hours ago  Updated 4 hours ago

Hey, chooms! We want to give you a heads-up that Patch 2.01 will be coming soon.

Here's a list of most important fixes and improvements that will be included there:

  • The distorted effect caused by selecting a specific dialogue option when talking to Johnny at the end of Automatic Love will no longer persist on the screen.
  • V will no longer die in The Heist by falling through the elevator when riding to the 42nd floor with low FPS.
  • Fixed an issue where the UI could show controller inputs when playing with keyboard and mouse.
  • Made it possible to properly switch to arms cyberware by cycling through weapons.
  • Gig: Breaking News will be properly triggered after approaching the quest area.
  • Vehicle radio volume will be adjusted so it's not too quiet when compared to other sounds in the game.
  • Addressed the issue of corrupted saves on PlayStation by increasing the maximum save file size limit. Note: this won't fix the saves corrupted before the update. If you're experiencing the issue, keep a working save (e.g. resave it as manual save) till 2.01 arrives.
  • Performance improvements for both PC and consoles, especially in the Dogtown area.
Remember that these are just the highlights, so stay tuned for more details!
Interesting note about Dogtown performance.

hi all in the spider and the fly quest in phantom liberty keep wiping on the wire part when you are supposed to roll v on the pc which key do you use please as the game gives no clue.

Path Tracing being enabled supersedes all other RT options as it's more advanced, there is no other RT option to change when path tracing is enabled as that is as high as ray tracing can go from a featureset level (other than mods that enable more rays and bounces).

As for my V, well I think this look screams spy thriller

I'm loving the dash jump double jump to get a super speedy way to triple jump to an area, or use for combat:

Also I don't recall the water reacting like this before the update?

Lastly, encountered a little funny glitch as Solomon reed left in his Uber:

Before starting a new play through I’ve been testing my 4090 with my current save, even after all this time there still seems to be massive problems with animations and the rag doll physics, such as objects/people getting stuck on other objects and bouncing around the screen. The AI still seems really poor as well in a lot of instances. At this stage don’t expect CDPR to be able to fix them, still doesn’t detract from this being a great game which is fun to play.

Agree. It's a tough conversation these days as its been so long since launch and one wouldn't expect that level of gameplay for the hype generated, not then, not now.
Just gotta accept the game for what it is I suppose, and on the contrary it does have its moments of brilliance.

For now you can install this mod to try and fool yourself that physics are better

Damn @mrk been playing this for like 2-3 hours and seen more bugs in it that I saw in 80 hours of Starfield

Here is one that just happened. Then had a car chasing me with no driver. Wtf.

The world looks beautiful but the engine bugs remind me a lot of the Bethesda ones, with random glitches and things.

I was talking with mrk about this the other day, and I think the engine they use works well for visuals but is unlikely to ever have all the random bugs sorted, so it will be interesting to see what CDPR do if they move to Unreal engine which I think they were talking about doing for their next game.
