*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I think I might be starting to enjoy this. I've said this before, but I played about 15 hours on release on Xbox, then gave up.

It's so much better on PC, it looks amazing and the city feels a bit more like it's alive, don't know if that's because there's more people/vehicles on PC. Gunplay feels better as well, although the AI is a bit thick.

personally, I had no real issue with full play to completion with the original release (5900x 2080ti) apart from some game mechanics that made the inevitable rise to god strength character a bit too quick/easy (you could buy cans of pop/soda and deconstruct them with the part being worth more than the drink cost).

Since the rebalance/patching/liberty.... I think 2 full playthroughs and it's probably one of my "desert island" games of choice. Still yet to do a fully melee based play.

But, yeah. The difference, even with the original release being fine for me, is staggering.

I’ve always gone for a mantis blade build, so much fun! The skill reworking made them even better. I will eventually buy this on PC again though and will go for some kind of gun build I think.

Well... tell you what, I'll give mantis a go.

I'd suggest a "watchdog" build (pistol and cyberdeck). The gun from the shooting range competition with some upgrades will last you till endgame.

Cyberpunk has some of the best designed guns and gunplay feel of any videogame..definitely go for that.
Is this sarcasm or has the game vastly improved in the past year or so? I thought the gunplay in Cyberpunk was shockingly bad and lifeless.
Go play Bodycam if you want good gunplay in a videogame

I only played at launch and no it is not sarcasm
The shotguns and Johnny's gun are pleasure to use, but most guns have great animations, enemies have good feedback etc.
Maybe we played two different games

I used that pistol all game pretty much. With a katana on the side.

Indeed, though some guns have good animations/design, but the gunplay while much better than I expected it to be compared to the genre average isn't even close to the greats for gunplay. I was able to enjoy it as a straight up shooting game though.

Lights go up.

Light go down.

I didn't have big problems with the game from the outset as I play on PC. I played through a couple of times. Now I'm going again with a controller (8bitdo Bluetooth) which is a change.

I love the game. It is visually stunning. Until I bought the game I played really old games, of which I have a backlog. So I don't have so much to compare it to.

Every time i see Cyberpunk screenshots im always so impressed.

Ive tried twice to get into it since its release but never seem to carry on playing it.

So now im tempted to give it another go (1.5 years later.)

So my question is, what are the absolute must have mods to make it better than vanilla.... if this still applies. Thanks

@mrk will be along shortly.

Seeing some of the Graphic mods for this game really make me want a 4090 :D They make a great looking game look stunning. Almost makes me want to re-install and play again even though I have played through twice already
