The new drivers 571.96 are included in the Cuda toolkit if you can't wait. Supposed to be good apparently on 4000 series. Not tried them yet I'm workingIs that coming in the next few days?

Speed bump was for FG
The new driver makes a difference apparently
Just been reading up on Preset J and everyone is raving about the image quality, looks like the hype could be real boys
Shame I could only afford Performance mode before the upgradeBest part is that you can use perf mode and have it looking better overall than the old model with dlss quality, that is a major win.
I linked them a couple of posts above yoursI imagine the new drivers will drop on the 30th when the 5090 releases.
Tbh performance isn't great, I'm losing on average around 10 fps compared to preset E on the previous dll file (3.8.10) - and my card is cooked in Dogtown
I'm running 4K maxed out apart from reflections, no raytracing. Still using preset J as yet to test anything else

Tested this now with CP benchmark and drivers 566.36
Patch 2.2
Average 104 Min 95 Max 121
Patch 2.21 Transformer model (with exactly same graphics settings as used in patch 2.2 bench)
Average 112 Min 102 Max 131
Patch 2.21 Convolutional Neural Network (whatever that is)
Average 118 (+13%) Min 108 (+13%) Max 140 (+16%)
Have to say the graphics look far better with the new patch
Transformer model is the new one right?
So performance is less than CNN but IQ is better?

Nope, I'll be keeping this one a while longer yet, 5080 doesn't look much better. Will wait for the refresh unless something dramatic happens with pricing. This thing doesn't break 58 Celsius running the most demanding stuff, I do have a large case though.i'd hoped to get a 2nd hand 4080/super but i don't think anyones going to be selling up...
Did I read somewhere performance with the new DLSS dll's is meant to be better with the pending new drivers?
