Going to be trying this out in black myth and silent hill 2, 2 games I'm playing now using dlss perf so should be a lovely upgrade on iq :cool:

To be fair in area I was testing in CP2077 I couldn't see much difference, I'm glad for that video cause it really shows off some of the improvements

I have just tried the new DLSS method, the performance gain is so significant there is absolutely no need to upgrade to 5090

going to load up the brain dance in my apartment with the new dlss transformer method to see how it handles all that lighting

. finally finished it 100% what a game wish there was more missions to do now or a online part

Not seeing any performance increase with DLSS 4 on 4080, or not enough for me to notice.

It looks very nice though, no ghosting and nothing looks garbled.... Dropped to performance DLSS and it still looks good.

Hmm, went back to CNN out of curiosity and performance is slightly better on my 4080... I guess the 10% performance increase was BS. Disappointing.

Updated CP2077, checked settings and Transformer is selected by default, loaded my last checkpoint and had a little play around, subtle differences but some fine details definitely look sharper in places, didn’t look at FPS but don’t imagine there was much difference.

What res/settings were you using? I was hoping I'd be able to play this maxed out after this GPU release somehow - without spending a fortune - I guess it's going back on the back burner for another 2 years.

Update, this is absolutely glorious! DLSS perf is better than DLSS quality on the old model. 10 fps hit in black myth and SH 2 with the new model.

Even the folks over on reddit who hate TAA are impressed :cry:
