Cyberpunk 2077

Updated, loaded up my game…played for 15mins then crashed when I tried to steal a car with someone in it. The start of the animation where it pull the driver out, freeze.

Even selecting SDR it had my TV in HDR mode oddly, ps5 set to HDR only when supported.
Combat felt terrible, but I like the aesthetic overall. Probably has potential but I'm grateful for the trial.
£13 on Turkish psn but don't have time for mediocre games so will keep an eye out next year incase they rescue it.

The specular highlights really pop since the update, I think it looks very good after some tweaking, turning off all the graphical settings like film grain helped a lot.
I think it’s very good now, personally.

I'll try that. I hate that every time a game has HDR I end up obsessing if I have it set 'correctly'

I was skipping all chat and taking no notice, I was treating the trial as a tech demo with no intention of getting in to it as I suspect there may be a lot more improvements on the way so will hold on. It's a bit like NMS every time I think I'll jump in, there is an update pending and I want to wait. It's why I don't really like live service games as I prefer to play a complete game.
Didn't want to spoil anything really as I feel it's a game I could definitely enjoy if I didn't have the mental nagging of I'm playing something incomplete.
 
Having been playing The Ascent for the past few weeks, Night City and the overall visual quality are a bit underwhelming in comparison. The Ascent certainly wasn't without its issues but the quality of presentation was absolutely incredible.
 
Wow this game runs like absolute ass on RT mode (Series X).

I’ll see if I can get more than an hour or two in without getting bored this time, but hey at least I could add a huge dong on my character and that’s the most important thing.
 
Anyone getting some weird drift issues with the ps5 controller? Camera moves around by itself. Very annoying.

Doesn’t happen in any other games so no issue with the controller itself.
 
PS5 RT mode (quality), is there actually any difference? Watched a few vids and honestly it looked 99% the same.

Not played it since release kn PS5 but thank God they fixed the console crashing.

Not sure if I have the strength to play it again tbh. I'll see.

Had a weird glitch last night when an NPC got stuck inside a parked car. It was standing in it and was flopping around trying to shoot me but stuck, which caused the car to flop around and flipped over the car and crushed itself.

I just stood there watching it unfold. Rather weird.
