Cyptolambo 2 is dead.... kindai goes car shawping

Can confirm Auto100 are dodgy. Bought my 4C from their and to be fair, it was fine but they were a pain in the ass throughout. I do know some GT4 owners though that have had problems, worst of which is 'losing' the second key and service history in the post.

Good luck with the yellow spider, looks a good one. Sicilian looks a bit pastel/flat this time of year but in the summer it properly pops. Shame it doesn't have the carbon interior which is imo essential with the bigger paddles, but these can be DIYd if you're bothered.

Yea, quite a lot as well, both front wheel arches, both doors, front bumper.

It pretty much needs a complete respray as its a very high flake content and an MSO special color and will need near full panel blending.

And its out of McLaren corrosion warranty as of last month so would have to go to an aftermarket bodyshop, they say Lloyds which is a McLaren approved bodyshop however...

That's badass but is gonna be a nightmare to sell on lol. Wrong colour for type of car for general market.

Lloyds is the official body shop for Ferrari and McLaren in North West, potentially Aston and Lambo too so they are good and highly rated.

For me I’d be buying it for asking but only upon:
- all paint defects corrected and a perfect job
- Passing a McLaren inspection with any major requirements rectified as part of the deal

Above done, slap a warranty on it and it’s a good car all supercars suffer corrosion, it’s comes faster on McLarens some worse than others, but my 458 suffered, my 600 LT has it pending warranty and my R8 has it.

It’s well priced if they agree to above and you’ll have a sorted car which if you keep extended warranty in place be quite easy to move on.

I did see this and though wow but having owned a Vantage they are simply not in the same league as your AV or a McLaren and if I was going Aston I’d go Vanquish for the better ZF gearbox and even more stunning looks.

Sounds about right. It is guaranteed to affect every car, every few years so need to find one that’s recently been sorted or the deal should reflect the work required. It is a real thorn in their side, insane that the previous owner didn’t get it sorted under warranty before it ran out tbh.
 
Yellow macca or some sort of Porsche/ferrari.

The Aston is nice but the colour is marmite. Suited to the Middle East folk imo.
 
Like I said, on Autotrader R8s are dropping £2k a month and still arent selling. Buyers market for them
