Dalglish resigned/sacked?

In short it was felt by Broughton and Purslow that if they had a more friendly face (read: yes man) it would make it easier to sell the club.

Rafa was the one that lifted the lid on the problems behind the scenes with the debt etc.

Ah, I see. Cheers for that.

They should not go back to old managers. They should look for someone new, whos got balls to do whats needed with the team.

Jose FTW :P

I read an interesting stat (not sure if true) that Lucas has made the most tackles for Liverpool this season and hasn't played for 6 months.
As already posted that is indeed true. Had the best tackling stats out of all the top European leagues last season and was top, by an absolute mile in the Premiership, when he got injured this season. To say he has been a huge loss would be a massive understatement but as with most DMs he'll never ever get the credit he deserves because he does the dirty work which often gets overlooked.

No i wanted him out for his miss blatent mis treatment of players actually, Im not even disputing the differences so whats KD and this season got to do with it?

I agree with you entirely on what you have said about KD, All i was saying is that you seem to not even be able to criticse Rafa anyway im not arquing with you as most the time we seem to agree lol

Who do you want for us next if its not Rafa?

I don't know and I'm glad I'm not picking, I've criticised Rafa, he just should never have even considered being sacked

The same source i told u in page 3 of this thread LOL when i told u all daglish will ge sacked and replaced by AVB :)

im half right so far. only a matter of time before the other half gets leaked and confirmed all over the show

Dalglish getting sacked was hardly a surprise, felt like a shock but everyone knew there was a good chance it was coming.

I think Martinez would do a good job at Liverpool, but I think the fans will be very hard to please.

I agree. I don't think we'd improve under him next year, and maybe not even the year after, but if the board are looking long term and don't bow to pressure from the fans, I think he'd be a good fit. Give him a few years to grow with the club, and we could be winning things again in a few years.
