Dark Souls 2 - Thread

Oh, and for those who didn't catch the trailer but have a decent phone:

For some reason videos which are blocked on youtube don't seem to be blocked on the mobile versions, meaning you will be able to watch it on your phones instead (if you don't mind the smaller screen that is). :)

edit: Also looking forward to this by an unbelievable amount :D I remember waiting months for an imported copy of Demons Souls to arrive, oh how it was worth it!

I've just read up on the PC version and apparently it's a shoddy 1280x720 port that needs GFWL? If so I think i'll give it a miss or wait until it's been patched if it does ever get patched.

Is there a demo I can download anywhere and try it? Sounds like shocking programming to be honest and apparently loads of people wanted it to come to PC too. :(

Problem with that is you're going to clear an area and if it's anything like Dark Souls in terms of being open world you're going to have areas where there are no enemies. I guess you could clear an area, complete a story event (such as ringing a bell in DkS) and when you pass through the area again the enemies are replaced with tougher enemies.

One word: DSfix. GFWL isn't even that bad either, the problems with it are overblown IMO.
 
They did get owned. From somebodies perspective who can actually play the games though you can see how easy that would be if you weren't focused on showcasing and not sucking. :p ... aw :(
 
Hyped! I dunno if it's due to the character being high level or what ever but the player moves too quickly and looks too light, considering he's wearing heavy armour and carrying all those weapons.
Anyway, looks good, they said they are going back to dedicated servers, so more jolly co-operation, and jousting/chariot PVP! :D
