i dropped a flare down there first, knew they'd come in handy

sniped ratushumungus with a longbow+5 which did'nt take long.

You are a bloody legend! I saw that drop, didn't want to take it as I had no idea where it went and had a HUGE amount of souls so didn't want to risk it!

there's an awesome ring lowlow down with the frogs and a good shield in that little secret drop down near the butchers table. and a merchant down there with the smaller rats too.
edit; and i'm guessing some sort of boss that pyro mentioned she was going to eat him, that's in the huge bleu eerie cathedral type place but there's a big obvious boss white mist, i ran back to undead berg.

The game is beautiful plain and simple. I really really love playing it.
I agree that the Pyro is an awesome char.... had the most fun with that so far.

You can only get that bonfire if you get past the dragon, either by killing it or avoiding the fire.

Also the second gate that the Skele locks is actually a scripted thing, you can then unlock it when you get behind the gate later on, at which point it stays open regardless of enemy spawns.

Ok right at the start of the tutorial, you walk to a place where you drop down and stab a dragon thing in the head, any way a little before that there is some broken stairs and a orb thing on a body at the top, the stairs are broken, how the hell do you get to it? I have the masters key but the door is locked :/

Does anyone have any tips?

I'm playing as a Warrior and I'm in undead berg. I tried a boss on the walk way just after you enter the light and I died, losing 2,000 souls. I did try to dodge his attacks, and sometimes it worked, but other times I seemed to bounce off his body and against the wall which was what ended me. I also didn't realise you couldn't go back the way you came, hence the loss of the souls.

I also tried to download the limited edition guide book from the site using the code off the back of the card, but it told me that the code was not recognised.

I'm currently lvl 11, but I have no idea what level I should be to give the bosses a go, also, I'm still using the stock weapons and armour, should I buy upgrades?

You get it when you come back apparently, I had the same question, after some searching it seems you don't get it till your return visit.

Omg got one shotted by the frogs in the Depths and now I'm cursed, down to half Hp for the time being

Luckily I managed to get the awesome ring so it's not too bad.

I picked up the elite knight armor from the forest and grinded away so I could buy some ore and upgrade all my equipment, my claymore does awesome damage now and I take so much less damage from most enemies, well worth a bit of time if you have the patience.

Okay guys, I beat the spider woman, went down further and got owned by the ceaseless discharge. I ran past him the next time and got these gold hemmed robes.

Are these overpowered or something? They seem to be some of the best armour in the game. They blow everything I had previously out the water

Well, after a long and difficult battle with Haven the Rock I finally took him down.

However, just seeing the size of the monster he was guarding made me run away, ain't going down there for a while

Only put about 5 hours into this so far, the first 3 as a Wanderer who I didn't really get on with, so started again as a Pyro who I'm finding much better for my playstyle. Only level 9 but I managed to beat the Knight in the Undead Berg who was guarding a ring, and took out the Taurus Demon on my first attempt (fireball + black firebomb = easy win). Died just afterwards when I got toasted by the Dragon, and I don't have a bow I can use to snipe him, so I'm going to have to go back, grab my souls, make it back outta there, and either buy a bow, or explore other areas until I get one. Love, love, loving this game so far.

kezs when you go through the mist go up ladder immediatly to your right and take out the archers then jump down and get the big guy to jump down run back to ladder climb up and wait till he's underneath u and jump down hitting R1 to do your falling attack then run to the other end of luring him away from ladder then dodge past run back rince and repeat managed to knock just under 1/4 of his life each time down this with 87 club currently playing as deprived.

Guys how good is this drake sword? At the moment I have a pretty nice sword that I grabbed from the sleeping dragon down in the (drake valley?) below the first camp you get to. I would have to run back from the undead Parish black smith to get a bow and farm the dragon at this point so want to make sure its worth doing.

If its not much better I will grab it on another character, I've re rolled 6 times so far...loving it.

Unless the parish Blacksmith has bows for sale? not actually looked at his wares yet.

Thats about the same as me tho ive only done 3 hours (lvl 7). wanderer class as well. I love the backflip and attack types he does - quite nimble

No magic though hrmm.. That knight in undead berg is really annoying has killed me a few times. I prolly need to grind a little bit.

According to the mini guide there was a light crossbow in the UB but never found it.

I saw that dragon as well but thought it would wake up if i nabbed what it was protecting....hrmm think i'll go back for it. I think i got a shortbow from the blacksmith.

Anyone know when you get the blue summon stone (to summon help) i have the red eye stone for invading tho.
