Is that down in lower undead burg?
I found a white warp down there after all the ambushes but dont really wanna lose my 11k of souls in there as im grinding to 20k for the forrest crest thing.

I'm at a point if I have a decent ammount of souls I equip the safety ring (can't remember the offical name but I know you can purchase another for 5k)

Hah felt the same! That and going back to the assylum for beginner boss part 2 brought me right back to earth!
 
Had great fun on this last night, my most enjoyable so far. Went into the Undead Parish and killed everything I could find - the Armoured Boar, the Undead Knights, one Black Knight, and all the usual enemies. Got plenty of souls and upgraded a few soul levels, then spotted a necromancer type dude firing soul arrows at me, so I legged it up some stairs to kill him, only to be completely ambushed! :D Managed to take him out, but was surrounded and was killed. I'll go back and have the beggars tonight I reckon.

How hard is Havel The Rock? I've heard he guards a tasty ring in Undead Burg but when I first went against him he one shotted me. I think that maybe I'd be more prepared for him now, as a Pyromancer with the Drake Sword.
 
I had a very good day today.

I got through Blighttown, killed Quelaag and rang the 2nd bell.
Got back out, opening the short cut to New Londo.
Went back into the depths, cleared out all the frogs and got the Ring of the Evil Eye which is very cool.
Went back into Blighttown and got the 2nd Fire Keeper Soul so my Estus Flask is now +2.
Upgraded my Ilota to +6.
Tried one of the Lizards at the door of Sen's Fortress and didn't get my ass handed to me.

Feeling good! I know it won't last but heh.
 
I haven't been summoned or invaded yet. If anyone wants to try duo at some point let me know, level 21/22 atm i think.

Just killed Havel, went to Dragon Valley(sp) and got smashed, went to some undead place with wolves and the boss demolished me as soon as i entered.

lvl 26 atm tring to up my faith level so i can get into warriors of sunlight. i thought i had done enough to get the faith 50 requirement but apparently not. So im hanging out round the bosses of gargoyle and capra helping folk.

not sure where else to go at the moment. get owned by the dragons in the valley and im sure the ghosts at ando would own me but its been a while. Hrmm might head down to the graveyard! :D


got totally owned by the gaping dragon in the depths luckily i was a spirit! poor dude who summoned me dont think he had a chance i thought it was the butterfly thing down there not the dragon!

got a black halberd but need 36 str to wield it. does 230 damage which aint bad haha

Im lvl 36 on my main Bandit. I must admit I used the dark forrest glitch to hit a couple levels though so that I could weild that nuts ultra greatsword. Might take on SIF tonight.

Anyone pick up the stone armor set? its funny putting it all on and not being able to run because it weighs so much!
 
Just got my back door smashed in by that Butterfly Boss.

I must have lost around 30k souls today from bosses. I lost 15k on the above one, not going back yet and 15k on this big ass thing in the sewers.
 
He isnt too bad that one I was quickly killed first time not knowing what its pattern was. 2nd time its just a case of rolling out the way of its projectiles and then bashing its face in when it lands on the bridge. You can block the smaller projectiles with your shield as well if you have the stamina for it.

Surreal boss for sure.
 
I cleared out the Undead Parish the last two days of all mini-bosses (the Necromancer, 2 Black Knights, Armored Tusk), and before heading up to fight the Bellfry Gargoyles, thought I'd go back and have a go at Havel The Rock. Promptly got my ass handed to me! He hits so hard, the moment he hit me I was dead. I lasted a good few minutes, dodging his attacks and hitting him, but one mistake and I was gone. May try again, or might just leave him for tonight and go back to take on the Gargoyles. Loving the game so much though, I can feel it grabbing me and not wanting to let go!
 
Has anybody else noticed that having a shield equipped apears to increase the range at which enemies will agro you?

I can easily run right up behind a red cape and back stab him if I use both hands on my drake sword, if I use it one handed and have a shield in the other hand he'll turn well before I get to him.
 
It all depends on how much sound you make when you move. If you walk slowly sometimes you can get a free backstab.

I saw on youtube aswell that a guy killed an NPC and got boots of silence, he could walk up on anything and always get a free backstab.
