Dark Soul's: Prepare to Die Edition (PC)

I love the Uchitagana, I really like it's moveset, quick and deadly. Tried the Scyth after seeing Jamie from here use it and deal silly damage. But just couldn't get on with it's slow moveset. My Utchi is +15 and I have 40 dex, I deal a fair bit of damage!

What armour set you wear? Also grass crest shield?

It's a mixture, all silver Knight with eastern legs. Havals ring and the ring of favor or what ever it is. The one that breaks when removed.

I'm focused on fast rolling with as much armour as possible. Shield... Not the grass shield. Similar, but with no buff and 100 physical block.

I think I will complete this tonight. Well I hope. If so, shall I bother with NG+ or maybe try play a totally different character? Maybe a pyro/axe character? Or a strength build?

OR, shall I play the DS2 360 copy my mate threw my way to get ready for the PC release.

NG+ is a lot of fun now you are familiar with the mechanics of the game, the enemies hit harder too which adds a new element.
Its also worth doing just so you can roll up to the Asylum Demon as soon as he drops off the roof and whack him twice to kill him :D

Is it worth 'respeccing' and putting points into other areas? As I'm level 92 I think and I still want to put more int in so I can buff my weapon.

What's your build so far? Usually you want 40 Vit, 40 Endurance and 40 in either Strength or Dex on a first playthrough as they're the 'soft caps' for those stats where you start getting diminishing returns. NG+ is usually the time you start focusing on buff stats like Faith or Intelligence.

Thats up to you, you need a lot of int to cast something like Crystal weapon which imo is the best weapon buff outside of Sunlight/Moonlight blade. You need 25 int for it though.

That in conjunction with power within and lingering dragoncrest ring makes you a wrecking machine though :)

waste of time putting points into dex, strength too imo. You should try playing the other side of the game now, make a new char, pick faith or int build, 40 end, put the rest on vit apart from a couple extra slots for attunement.
run through the game to anor londo, get the lord vessel and go straight to new londo ruins, beat 4 kings and join darkwraith covenant, then, welcome to dark souls

I was shockingly bad at parrying.

Ended up kiting with the odd parry if I felt confident and smacking him when he tried to grab me.

Won't be touching the DLC until I do a PC play through probably.

Want to platnium Demons+Dark on PS3, will take some effort though

I found O+S the hardest. Probably took about 15 attempts.

The rest of the bosses (apart from the DLC) were easy. 4 Kings, Bed of Chaos and Gwyn all went down 1st attempt. Uchitagana FTW!

Gwyn is LOLeasy to parry but i hate doing it that way, prefer a good fight with him. Kalameet is almost ragequit inducing to me, sometimes i can kick his arse to one hit worth and then he sits on me, then i'll spend 15 attempts getting slapped like a pussy.....massive hate.
