You can invade other's worlds and get invaded by players yourself.

Happened to me earlier some dude invaded while I was battling about 5 big rats and I got destroyed (he was wearing endgame **** though, and i'm crap)

  • Mouse cursor toggling with F9 should now be less finicky
  • You can toggle whether the mouse is allowed to leave the window with F10
    (this is useful in windowed mode or in fullscreen with multiple monitors)
  • Both of these settings can also be set in the .ini
  • The fix introduced in version 0.2 for cut-off text/buttons has been reworked to be much less invasive — if you have seen any degradation in performance or functionality from 0.1 to 0.2 this should fix it (I haven’t seen any changes)

Anyway been to New Londo Ruins after beating the Dragon to unlock Blighty (got his tail weapon too). Some frame rate drop while crossing the bridges to grab a firekeeper soul but I went back after snatching that. Gave the large ember to the blacksmith, upgraded my katana to 6+ and broadword to a divine broadsword :D

Good 60 mins :)
 
what do you think about dark souls boys?
is playing on a keyboard as bad as they say?
how does the controls work then?
I played on ps3,demon and dark souls,with the pad that is really great game
 
I'm just starting blighttown and always get badly poisoned. How do you remove the toxin since once I get it it's instant death. I've got this moss from the mobs in darkroot garden but they are quite rare and only have 1 left.

Also where is a good place to get some rings? I've only got Havel's one.

You can poison yourself with the dung piles. Its much weaker and easily tankable and whilst affected you are immune to other poisons. Otherwise you can buy the moss from an NPC at the firelink shrine entrance to the depths.

There is a good ring for later half of Blight back at the Undead Asylum, old rusty ring or something. Lets you move through water at normal speed instead of being slowed, which helps in the poison lake.

As for purple moss it is very common and easy to farm from the tree like enemies.

Its super, however playing with a keyboard is impossible.


The thing I find funny is the game doesn't even start until Sen's Fortress... God help me when I get to that stage.

Made some good progress last night and got some new sets off armor and weapons.

Got the Knight Artorias armor and his Abyss Sword, It looks awesome and is a little lighter than other medium armor sets, however the protection it offers looks a little naff at the moment. The sword itself has an awesome moveset and it's damage is effected by how much humanity you have.

His boss fight was one the best in the game in my opinion, I can't wait to fight him again in co-op or on a second run through.

Also managed to grab the Paladin armor for the first time, I never managed to get it on the Ps3 as it always glitched and never appeared for me. It's a really nice set and provides loads of protection now that I've upgraded it a little bit.

You said this before, are you just joking now? :o

Anyway I managed to get through Blighttown rather quick, lag-free and easily this morning in about 60-90 mins. Got most the items too. I must say the boss was a tad more difficult than most the others so far, but I got her on my second try :D Bell number 2 down! :D

First half of Sen's Fortress was rather easy too, the 2 lizards at the very start were a pain before I got the lightning spear though! 50,000 souls to spend now, I think I might save up until i've done the whole of the Fortress :p
