It might be getting an Easy Mode!

/sits back to watch the ensuing wave of indignant rage ;)

To be fair I doubt they would go to all the hassle with DS I am guessing they would stick an easy mode into the next souls game. Good for sales and for other players who have grown up on hand holding games, but for others we get the option to play on hard as well. Win win imo, steam achievements or whatever they decide to use, if they do indeed do a next souls on PC should all be locked for Hard mode only. Long as I get to play on Hard mode they can add whatever hand holding features they think best for others.

I don't need an easy mode...

All i want is proper pc controls, it's so simple to do if they patched that into DS it would've made it a winner for me, but as it stands the controller imo ruined it. I hate the controller when it has to have so many damn buttons :/

So because you are using a controller the game is ruined for you? Using a controller is just fine, the game is designed for it!

Edit: The one thing that really bugs me, is not the bad port of unscaled textures, but the fact the game has black widescreen boarders because it don't support 16:10 ratio.

I'm in two minds to be honest. I loved Demons Souls, but just never had to time to get as much out of it as I'd have liked. Thoroughly enjoyed playing what I did of it, but it would have been nice to be able to see a bit more without the massive time-sink.

Then again, if it wasn't as bloody hard and unforgiving as it was, I might not have found it half as interesting.

So if I pick this up can I use my PS3 controller? Racked up about 200hrs on the PS3 version but couldn't imagine using a keyboard!

Go play Gauntlet then. You need to adapt if you want to survive! :p

Amazing game, but I have lost count of the times I have hit ALT-F4 in a rage on dying :D

I can now see why so many people hate GFWL, I stay connected for anything between 5 - 20 minutes and then disconnect. Ports open, have tried reinstall Live. Just have to settle for offline mode.

lol good one, thought the days of being forced to repeat content were long gone, not a big fan of a game being artificially lengthened by killing me through no fault of my own (fire from the dragon coming out of nowhere) then forcing me to repeat the content. Stinks of the old snes days where games would just insta kill you until you learnt everything by heart, which is just memorising stuff, not true skill.

You really thought it would not be back after seeing it the first time? Also did you not hear it fly over head before you ran blind onto that bridge? If you keep running around blind and not paying attention this game will own you. Prepare to Die lots and lots :)

Shame on you shame on you.
