My dashcam (DR32) has killed a Samsung 32gb MicroSD card within ~3 years of daily use. Reading about, I don't think standard consumer grade cards are designed for the constant over write usage a dashcam subjects them to.
Can anyone report similar or had any better luck?
Bought the same one myself with the addition of a polarising filter. I even had them install it for me as I just couldn't be bothered doing it myself.
Which polarizing filter did you get and where from please?
Cheers all
Bought in Halfords... is the OEM one.
I've had a SanDisk one break from Amazon direct before. Bought two at the same time as my dashcam has front and back camera, the other one is going strong so could just be a manufacturing fault.Where was the card from? A real retailer or a reseller?
I've never seen a real SD card break, fakes look very convincing.

Might be worth having a look at that if you need a hand selecting the right SD for ya dashcam.
Yeah i got a Lexar 64Gb High Endurance Micro SD in my BlackVue cam at the moment , the Samsung EVO micro SD was causing my dashcam to restart loadsSimple enough then, go for Transcend or Lexar Endurance cards as they're designed with constant writing and rewriting in mind
