Dashcams!

Mine is 24/7 too, I quite like that the 0806 is so cheap looking, I keep eyeing up the blackvue cam but you can tell that it's expensive just by looking at it which is slightly off putting

2 mobius cameras, 2 super caps, 2 mini mounts, 2 32gb memory cards, and hard wired power supplys under £150 had mine over a year with no probs at all

I have been looking at the Veho Movie K2 although not strictly a dash cam it looks pretty good spec and the supplied accessories like an underwater case as standard and 1080p @ 60FPS make it attractive, I've looked at YouTube videos where it's compared to the equivalent GoPro and it's pretty close. My local computer retailer has them in stock too so I might pop over later and pick one up. The only thing I will need to buy is the suction cup mount.

Remember the K2 is not in any way shape of form a dashcam and a suckermount means you can not leave it in the car if you expect it to be there when you get back. I am not even sure why some dashcams are supplied with a suckermount as they are a pain to keep removing. A permanent mount looks so much better and the quick releases on them makes it a doddle to take off should you need to but all our cameras are in the car permanently.

Anyone with an E46 and a Mobius cam? What mount are you using to hide it away? I'd love for it to be out of the way and no obvious way to know its there.

I've just hardwired my dashcam into my E46.

Took a couple of hours - was pretty easy though! What kind of power connector does the mobius use? My one uses a micro USB cable.

Anyone? Like the 3rd time I've asked now and I am not ploughing back through a 20-odd page thread...

Well google it yourself if no one has answered :p

Watch a load of techmoan videos and make your own informed choices.

Ive got the mini 0805 and not had a problem with it, other have.
The same can be said of other popular models I don't doubt.
Pick one, order it, fit it, forget about it.
