Beard - Yup
Side of head shaved - Yup...
Hair on top combed over - Yup... :o
Skinny jeans - No chance!
Tattoos - Scared of them

Nearly a hipster?

I could probably eat a couple of skinny hipsters for a snack right now...

Beard - Yup
Side of head shaved - Nope
Hair on top combed over - Nope
Skinny jeans - No thanks, I'm a man not a girl
Tattoos - Nope

I wet shaved my 4 week beard last night, as I wet shaved my whole head for the first time.

Regrets :(

Beard - check
Side of head shaved - my whole head is shaved because I don't have much hair, does that count?
Hair on top either tall or combed over - I have none!
Skinny jeans - I have 28" thighs, it's not gonna happen.
Tattoos - no thanks

Phew I'm not a young hipster! :p In fact I could probably eat a couple of skinny hipsters for a snack right now...

:D:D:p

I've always just shampoo'd mine in the morning with whatever I use in my hair and combed it, I have a decent length beard, roughly a grade 8 I would say? I usually just let it grow enough and then shave it down to a grade 5 and let it grow again.

Will any of these 'products' benefit me or shall I just keep it as is, i've not had any issues with it feeling dry or anything!

What has happened to this thread! Haha.

Well, I made the choice to stick to my beard, I've got an interview this afternoon and I tried to neaten it up as best as possible.

I've got one in two weeks - not sure whether to shave or not! I mean I guess I'll grow it back when if I get the job so there's no real point in shaving is there?

This arrived yesterday...

Seems pretty good, the comb is simple and works well, without the use of the other products it tidied my beard up a bit.
The wash smells good and seems to soften it nicely whilst washing but the balm thing is needed to help maintain softness.
The wax is like a brick and I'm not sure it's really worth trying to use wax on a beard, I'd expected it to be more like normal hair wax which is soft.
Also all the stuff smells like wood, so now I smell like furniture, not sure if this is good or bad. :D

For £23 to try out the whole beard maintenance thing and see what these sorts of products are like I think it's worth it if you're unsure what to get. :)

Glad you like it dude! Yeah the wax is a weird one - mine was also rock solid so had to leave it in a few mil of boiling water a couple of times to soften it up. I think it's mainly for 'stache styling although mine is still at a stage where it's not quite long enough so haven't properly tried it out yet - soon though :)

Also I really like the woody fragrance :o
