Unless your insecure about your own sexuality, why would it?
climb down fella, it was a joke in reference to the part about his parts moving when seeing two women.
Unless your insecure about your own sexuality, why would it?
Probably because Lesbians are not quite as aggressive in their sexuality as Gay Men, as a rule.
I think you will find that all men, regardless of their sexuality, are aggressive about it.
"PHWOAR!!! Look at the jubblies on that one! Alright darling, can I get fries with that shake?!!?" *wolf whistle*
That makes me feel WAY more uncomfortable than two dudes kissing.
It's very difficult to approximate what is common with regards to sexuality. Millions of people in the UK identify as being gay, and that's in addition to the probably larger number who would consider themselves straight, if pushed, yet have some homosexual interest or curiosity. The rate of some homosexuality is probably quite high.Of course.
Its not very common on the whole, therefore I wouldn't consider it part of the 'norm', in the way you mean it.
I don't think any less of someone because they are gay (unless they are one of those in your face, camp as christmas types) but its not something I would consider normal in the same way I consider heterosexual stuff as normal.
tbh its not normal is it. I can count on one hand how many times I've seen men kissing.
Some girls do have a freaked out reaction to 2 girls kissing I know one especially that thinks it's beyond gross!
Isn't the incidence of homosexuality about the same as the incidence of left-handedness?
Left-handed people are not normal. You heard it here first.
Man on man action = Yurghhhhhhhhh
Girl on Girl = Waahayyyy can I join in?
Yep. Also ginger people are getting less and less in numbers, making them not normal.
So, should you happen to find a ginger left handed person you can expect them to be completely not normal.
Unfortunately, I am left handed and ginger. Damn
I'm going to write to David Camerson to request that you not be allowed to appear on TV before 9pm.
The human race is the male + female combo and I don't personally feel that male + male or female + female is the right thing to be supporting. The race will survive with male and female, but will not survive if everyone was gay, and to me, that just says that being gay is wrong.
The 'token gay' is only present as much as the 'token black' here or the 'token Mexican' in the US. It's more an attempt to appeal to those sections of society than anything more sinister.Trouble is that 'gay' is seemingly promoted as a trend and cool. You HAVE to have a 'token gay' (or several) in order to make your programme valid nowadays.
If you don't want you child to be exposed to homosexuality, then that is your choice. I think it's a bad one to make as a parent. The world is the world, and homosexuality is a part of it. Understanding is better than ignorance. Ignorance is what has created the conditions for rampant persecution for all manner of reasons. Your child will grow up to understand homosexuality and there is simply nothing you can do about it, unless you want to lock them away forever.I have no problem with those that are gay, but I don't personally believe it is right. I don't want my kid being exposed to it on TV (or anywhere else), regardless of what the law says.
I think letting them grow up with their own ideas is the best thing, too. However, ideas are born from experience and inspiration, and by intentionally not exposing them to homosexuality you are effectively making a determination for them that homosexuality is wrong. You cannot say that you are letting them make their own decisions and then present them with options you have pre-filtered.I want my child to grow up with their own idea on sexuality, not something that is promoted/sold/marketted at them. I'll not force my idea's on them either, but I will try to teach them right from wrong as I see it.
The risk of human race ending because of homosexuality is nil. Homosexuality will not suddenly gain a 100% prevalence rate because it's openly accepted. Homosexuality has existed probably at the current rate for a very long time, it has only recently become more visible. The human race is the male + female combo and I don't personally feel that male + male or female + female is the right thing to be supporting. The race will survive with male and female, but will not survive if everyone was gay, and to me, that just says that being gay is wrong. Once again, I hold nothing against those that are gay, but my views differ.
What makes it different to explaining a man and a woman kissing to a 7 year old? Have you discovered a way to impart the feelings love and sexuality to your children before they have experienced them?I think Dave has got it right again ..
You try explaining two men kissing on the telly to your 7yeard old , its just not natural and needs to be banned .
Call me homophobic are whatever the word is its just not mother natures way.

Who really cares, I don't particularly care for watching men snogging full on whether on TV or in Public, it makes me feel uncomfortable. However hetero couples going at it in public makes me fell uncomfortable as well, although it doesn't particularly bother me on TV.
I can always turn the TV over if I don't want to watch it.
