David Cameron looking to ban gay kisses...

You try explaining two men kissing on the telly to your 7yeard old , its just not natural and needs to be banned

The same way you'd explain a man & woman kissing. It's hardly rocket science, is it?

Call me homophobic are whatever the word is its just not mother natures way.

Bzzzt. Wrong answer. Lots of homosexual behaviour happens in nature.

Jeez if the Romans could accept homosexuality it really amazes me that attitudes like yours still exists in the 21st Century.

OMG thats is a sensible answer .

How would you know I am an idiot purely based up on a few sentances on a web forum ?

Its simple , I dont agree with public diplays of homosexuality and think David Cameron is correct in everything he says in this article .

We can tell you are an idiot because David Cameron isn't actually asking for gay kissing to be banned.

You're not biased at all are you?
Being gay makes be biased towards thinking being gay is normal? Could do I suppose? Could also mean I have a clue what I am talking about.
That's just your opinion. It still isn't proven whether or not homosexuality is a product of the environment, genetically driven or a combination (diathesis-stree model).
Irrelevant really. Homosexuality is something that occurs frequently and there are few negative aspects to it. Whether it's completely a product of genetics, environment, chance or a combination of all three has no bearing on it's normality.
I'm fine with what people do, as we all lead our own lives. However I reject that we should give it the same amount of creedance/airtime as hetrosexuality because:

1-It's not normal at all. Regardless of how it's caused, it's un-natural in terms of the physical implications etc

2-Gays ARE a minority. As it is I feel that far to much is dedicated to what is a quite a minor amount of people.
It wouldn't need so much airtime to try and 'promote' it if people wouldn't try to persecute. I am under no illusion that many people who now take the "I tolerate it but I don't like it, it makes me puke" line are the people who would be burning them at the stake if it were still acceptable to do so. People like that have been beaten in to submission by progressive thinking and a little thing called 'equality'.

so why did mother nature make bum loving monkeys?

maybe that's how mother nature gets her rocks off

Haha.

Seriously though, there are bound to be a few who "fall through the cracks" figuratively speaking.

Even a factory which has a 99.9999% rate will produce models different from the "norm".

Good lord could you be any more of a sissy?

lawl.

You think that homo- and heterosexuality are getting even air time in the media???

LOL!

Proportionally I think, yes it's definitely significant.

being gay is not wrong in my opinion, because you can't change whether you are attracted to people of your own or the opposite sex...

However, I pesonally feel revulsion when I say two men kissing.... to be honest seeing women kissing doesn't turn me on either, I just think its strange... and you know what, im not even too fussed about watching straight couples kissing...

what i do enjoy however, i giving my girlfriend and nice kiss, and a cheeky bum squeeze

the moral of the story? there isnt one

I think Dave has got it right again ..

You try explaining two men kissing on the telly to your 7yeard old , its just not natural and needs to be banned .

"You see 7 year old, some men and women don't like their opposites and instead prefer to kiss people who are their own gender, its not common but it isn't wrong if that is how someone feels when they grow up"

Where is the problem with that?

Oh wait, your saying being homosexual is unnatural, care to source your information? I as a straight man am fascinated that something I have very little first hand knowledge of has been shown to be unnatural because everything I have come across says otherwise.

Some of the comments in this thread just make me physically facepalm. I really dont see why people get so pet up about issues such as this. It's a naturally occurring thing and has been around since time imorial...however if you shy kids away from it it just builds up a level of ignorance that eventually leads to persecution just like what happens if there is a lack of understanding about religion or disability. Now im not saying homosexuality should be flaunted just like heterosexuality shouldnt be flaunted in an overly suggestive manner, however i certainly dont think it should be hidden away like some sort of dark secret from kids...at the end of the day they need to be exposed to it so that there view of the world is not completly contorted to the view that homosexality or even sexuality in general is wrong. Kids need to learn about the world rather than being hidden away from it and at the end of the day if they see say two guys kissing i strongly hold the opion that it will have absolutely no bearing on there eventual sexuality as I beleive its inherently wired into the brain whether your attracted to the same sex or not and programs etc are not going to change that.

If the one in ten statistic is to be believed then for every 9 heterosexual kisses you would need to see 1 homosexual kiss. Considering the amount of media attention gay kisses in soaps still get I would suggest that it is unlikely to be anywhere near that sort of level.

Seems there are a lot of Fag Hags in this forum , maybe I should turn over.
I agree, wasn't the best answer, but sometimes I feel that idiocy is so rampant I can barely be bothered to argue with it. I dunno, maybe you aren't an idiot. Convince me otherwise.

My stance is also simple, I think you are a little backwards for not agreeing with public displays of homosexuality.

Do you know what a fag hag is? I suspect most of the people in this forum aren't fag hags, as a fag hag is female. You're failing to convince me, btw.

To be honest as far as a 7 year old goes "Because they love each other" would be more than enough.

The same way you'd explain a man & woman kissing. It's hardly rocket science, is it?

Right, because a man and woman kissing is the same as a man/man woman/woman.

I'd say it's not a waste. It's the only way some of them would get any action :P

:o

Yes, that's why I said you were biased.

And as to your last little pitiful whine about how you are an endangered species, I don't think that's the case.

As anti it as I may be, I'm not going to burn you at the stake. In fact you as a human should have the same rights as me, you just shouldn't be trying to get it on the same par as hetrosexuality.

Yes. Heterosexual men tend to be attracted to heterosexual women. You know, ones they can play hide the sausage with...

I've always liked to use flavours as an analogy.

I love mushrooms, I think they are yummy. Many people I know like them as well. One of my friends hates them though, and I am sure there are many others who share his distaste for them.

Should mushrooms be banned? Should he not expose his kids to mushrooms for fear of them actually liking them?

You have no control of the flavours you like and dislike, and people don't go campaigning against foodstuffs (some religions excluded), so why should your sexuality flavour be any different?

Father "you see young boy, some men like other men......."

Boy "eww, that's gross"

If a kid tells you you eww when they hear that, then you know that its not normal and the kids reaction is telling the truth.

A rack is going to get any man going to a point. :p

I agree to a point, as pointed out I'm not against it as a private event, it's merely the flaunting of the normality of it that gets my goat.

If the one in ten statistic is to be believed then for every 9 heterosexual kisses you would need to see 1 homosexual kiss. Considering the amount of media attention gay kisses in soaps still get I would suggest that it is unlikely to be anywhere near that sort of level.

I might be a bit biased. :p

My daughter thinks mushrooms are gross, to follow the line from the post above.

Also, children invariably only repeat what they are told when it comes to things they don't understand. Most adults, too, for that matter.
