Dayz Breaking Point (Arma 3 mod)

Had a go on this today, first time ever, met someone who was friendly and let me go on my merry way. I got to a larger town, saw someone else, it lagged like hell and I died? Will give it another go tomorrow. Not too sure on the zombies though, they look more like comedy zombies.
 
Played for the first time yesterday with a mate, couldn't find him then found someone camping a little town site. Managed to escape and find a gun only for someone to run over the hill and start shooting at me....

Although my friend joined a group and got told to L2P and go to wiki to learn the game.

What a nice bunch :p

People are the enemy, Zombies are merely a distraction / inconvenience :P
 
I've had Arma 3 since the alpha/beta purchase offer not played much, but after being disappointed with Dayz SA and the time its taking I needed a fix of post apocalyptic mayhem.

Tried rust for a while and enjoyed it but not quite what i was after, then i donwloaded BP a few days ago and now i feel like i'm home again such a good mod like being back in the orignal dayz mod but so much better.

Currently running around on eu9 new haven i think it is playing a survivalist and just getting to grips with it again, any recommendations for other maps to try bornholm?

Currently mooching around the shooting range as some good drops, is it worth doing a run to the stronghold that's near by?
 
10 minutes of play, christ it's hard, you literally have to sneak/slow walk everywhere. They don't randomly spawn in, they're in buildings waiting and some of them sprint after you.

A radical change but one for the better I think, will make people think twice before engaging.

Yeah! People need to think about the zombies a lot more now where before we just walked past them!

Great addition! Unfortunate that they are having these issues with the servers today!

Great dev team, have donated to them a few times now! looking forward to seeing the lurker zombie!
 
I managed to get on to eu8 and eu9 most of the day with out any issues, it was flaking first thing around 10 but been pretty stable for most of the day.

I'm liking the zombie 2.0 change, makes going survivalist a bit more worth it due to being harder for zombie's to detect.

loot spawns seem to be a bit knackered at the moment, took me best part of an hour to find some drink, also seems they are not re-spawning after looting. I have to say that flinders island is a little gold mine for gun drops got a fn fal, m16a4 colt 1911 modern with silencer all in the same run.
