Arma 3 Epoch Mod will be a total conversion mod coded from the ground up, and no longer based on DayZ. Many of the key ideas from DayZ Epoch will play a major role in Epoch Mod however everything else will change!

More will be announced early next year.

yeah i do it will flop and well all be playing standalone.

as said before peak arma 3 about 6000 -8000 currently dayz standalone currently about 50000 and thats before another 100,000 just brought the game.add a couple of hundred thousand in next few months LOL.

what all those of you who try to do by saying mod and arma 3 this and that it wont! it will be the standalone ! you have the very man who creates the mod you have the whole dev team behind it not modders and they have the resources and the players and sales behind it. that alone means anything else but SA is on borrowed time.

whats the point in bringing epoch to arma 3 when the standalone will have the core features in standalone? there is no point at all.

so please go continue the talk in the dead arma 3 thread. let us continue to talk about the game in the thread title ;)
 
I have it on good authority that the Epoch devs are very interested in making Epoch for SA when its opened up to the modding community. :)

i love the idea of this game, been watching some lol youtube clips.. i look forward to mugging someone for their trousers when the game has been a lil more developed :p

That's interesting, probs a long way before SA allow that. Fingers crossed Arma 3 gets a release mid year, now that would be impressive.

I think it is safe to say they will at least have something :D might even get loot that respawns :) I hear SA might get respawning loot to after they add some hockey masks.
