***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

They really need to hurry up and add a **** ton more zombies ASAP, every town is empty and even when you get to one which no one has been to there are still only ever 3-4 zombies. All this ammo and nothing to shoot, used to enjoy practicing headshotting zombies in the mod.

yea not one single zombie at the airport when I as there.
 
And why are they drip feeding us content so slowly ? How hard can it be to add a few more guns or the shotguns which they supply ammo for ! I get the impression this is going to be one of the slowest developed games ever, the main guy does not inspire confidence at all when u see him interviewed... He comes across to me as a bit of a chancer who hit the jackpot with a great idea but clumsy execution. Fair play to him and all that but personally for me he doesn't seem very professional, which ultimately makes me a it dubious about how things are going to progress.

DG obviously saw Dean One week before Neil. He just failed to mention it to anyone. Lol at him reporting everyone. Just like school days hey DG ?:D

The reason they have no zombies is because they all clip through walls. Imagine 10-20 around a house all walking through the walls.
 
it does break the illusion a bit, spending 30 minutes going around a military camp and you find a single zombie... still the atmosphere makes it very creepy.

They will come in time m8, have to remember it is early stage. Once they fix all the rubbish more zeds will be added.
 
My first time on it last night, there were plenty of zombies attacking me when I had no way of defending myself:mad: . Overall the game is good however I seem to be lost in a forest with no civilisation around:confused:
 
I've just read through the last few pages of this thread and quite frankly I'm appalled by some of the behavior in here. The petty bickering and sniping from several members is simply ridiculous.

It ends now.

Any member who posts sly digs, veiled insults or outright attacks another member in this thread will get an instant 48 hour suspension. No warning, no editing, you'll get a straight suspension. You do it a second time, you'll get a week. If you do it again, you'll get your access to this section of the forum permanently removed.

If you don't like another member, or have a problem with them, simply ignore them. If someone attacks you, report the post or contact one of the mods/admins directly. If the behavior in this thread doesn't improve I'll simply lock it down.
 
Davey the warning seems a little vague... It has me worried whether or not I can risk continuing to post in this thread... Re-reading my own posts I can see that they are fairly argumentative but anything that could be construed as an insult/dig/attack is (I think) fairly clearly directed at Rocket and his team of developers as opposed to any particular members of the forum...

Still I guess for it to get to this point at least one or two in the thread must be feeling victimised - if any of that is my fault without realising then I'd like those people to know that I'm sorry :(
