***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

As much as I love Dayz SA and play it loads, I cant help that all the stuff they are adding is useless unless they get the basics running stable. Server lag and glitch zobbies is just a joke sometimes.
 
Dean Rocket said that Dayz SA was fundamentaly flawed.
Maybe he means the lag and zombie clipping, maybe it will never be fixed.
Dont be surprised if Dean Hall comes out with a game very similar to Dayz SA within the next couple of years.
 
His problem is, having done a snatch, grab and scarper job with SA, his reputation is worth ****. Nobody in their right mind would pay for anything he does again surely?

which you will also be paying to play for and by the looks of the stream you'd be better playing and sticking with Dayz than that mess.


hows the physix going on in experimental ? you can now through stuff.

lol no chance of going back to DayzSA, if i wanted a proper experience and to actually have fun id play the mod.

for now ill stick to Rust which is actually playable.

It's why I stopped playing as well, the lag and zombie clipping was horrendous

However as someone who met Dean in person, he stuck true to his attitude. Completely full of himself, he'd bang his own body given half the chance
 
just built on a poorly optimized engine

h1z1 looks more interesting at least its a built on a better engine, all these zombie/survival games like rust, 7dtd all seems very bad in the development progress including dayz.
 
Past few sessions on a full server and me and my bro headed past elctro and the cherno to the air field near there, we have not seen or heard a single person going there. Are we missing sumit, i fort these places where the places to be. We normally spawn near the ship wreck and thats where most people seem to be. we have some decent gear on us now. We havnt played this in a while so is ther sumit new that people are doing/going and where is the best place to get a mossin lol :P
 
Been trying to get in to this and i'm finding it really hard. Just feels like there is so much wrong with it, I don't know how people put countless hours into such a broken game :(
