They really need to sort out being able to log just after death. I have killed up to 10 people now and they log straight away. I even killed some nab with an Axe who had an M4 and wasted 2 clips on me. He logged before I could loot him.

Seems to me the devs have been tossing it off for 18 months because it looks like they've hardly done any work! Yes I know it is alpha but still......
 
Enjoying it so far; animations are much better and some actions have been vastly improved - It really reminds me of the mods release, when people were working together and just exploring etc.

Had some decent gear until a zombie warped through 3 walls to bitch slap me - killed him and started bandaging... another one flies through the window and hits me again - no more bandages.

I'm all for adding shiny new features, vehicles, crafting elements etc. but if you can't get one of the fundamental elements of the game (zombies) to function properly then what's the point?

I know it's got a lot to do with the ARMA engine but I'd like to think they'd be closer to sorting it by now :confused:

Not completely the players fault though, people should have to wait on the 'you are dead' screen just so that someone can loot them? :p it's more likely people just quit when they are dead to start a fresh rather than intentional. I know what you mean, bodies seem to glitch all over the place or disappear when dead

Hey Puppetmaster - I also run Crossfire and have enabled the profile as you described. Still getting crap frames though - doesn't really matter what settings you select in the graphics options.

Anyone mind posting their graphics settings please?

Especially those who claim to have smooth high FPS :)

My self and another member here both running 290's. We have to set it to normal graphics to be able to get 60 fps constant which is pretty shocking tbh. Hoping its due to how new the 290's are.

stop playing on a broken toaster then ;) need to get fraps up again or something so I can see what I'll get in it :) why can't they have it built in.....even BF4 has that ;p (wonder if it actually lies like the rest of EA do :p )

oooo side note, does shadow play display fps? that would be pretty handy :D

60 fps isnt the issue. Having to set graphics details to normal with a 290x and a 2600k @ 4.7 to achieve that fps is definitely bad. Even at max settings the game doesn't look good. Playing it at normal and it looks awful, like it belongs in 2005 or something.
 
Yeah thing is no one can complain about performance until it hits full retail (although mine runs pretty well tbh). No matter how long they have had to make it run a bit better.
