US: DC's Legends of Tomorrow

I don't mind the fire bloke so much, but arrrgggghhh that cold fellas accent, what is he trying to achieve  Has he been watching too much 60's Batman and taking his cues from those villains ?

Seeing as that's the entire idea of that character and that that's what everyone is moaning about, I'd say that he's doing a damn good job of it.

I just think he, and Heatwave, are completely useless in this. What's the point in two thieves who just happen to have a couple of special guns?

My sentiments exactly. That's how his character is written and that's how he acts the part. Again, he is an intentionally over acted character to emphasize the fact that he is actually just a Criminal with a huge intellect and a funky toy! No powers, no alien dna... Sounds like a dozen of superhero villains to me! Jeez Spaceys Lex Luther was as bad but that never got complained about as much as Captain Cold and Heatwave!

It's been renewed for season 2, along with every single other show the channel has going. I'm not surprised as they almost always give their shows a second season chance but it's going to have to change significantly if it wants to last beyond that.

Oh the inconsistencies.

Mick can go back in time and time again and kill Snart's sister over and over again.

Rip can't decide to go back 2 years before picking up Atom and Hawk because time will fold in on itself.

Top kek.

I suppose it comes down to how much of this kind of stuff you watch, I tend to nearly
always have something playing on my second monitor when I'm doing other stuff so the patterns become a bit obvious after a while:
A reminder in the opening about the Cold/Heatwave falling out
Him only taking Snart (with attention brought to it in two separate scenes by other characters as to why he only took Snart and not Rip)
Both conversations between Snart and Chronos on his ship.
It was actually a great reveal that I didn't see coming after the last episodes (I honestly just figured he'd been left frozen and they'd pick up the plot thread when Flash finally gets around to having a non-Zoom breather episode), but they seemed quite intent on leaving too many breadcrumbs in the episode, there's foreshadowing and then there's just giving it away.

I just keep watching in the hope they keep on dressing up sara in comedy time appropriate clothing

Watched the one last night where they go to the old west. The whole point of going there was to hide from these 3 badass assassins coming after them who were apparently unstoppable. Who they then fight and kill in about 18 seconds. One of them just got punched a bit and stabbed. What was the fear for???

What did my head in was a young HG Wells in 1871 Dakota. It's almost as if the writers don't know that HG was an English author and that in 1871 was five years old and living in Kent whilst his Father earned money playing cricket.

The whole show is a joke, but for some reason it keeps getting ratings... it's the worst scripted show I've seen in a long long time; I hate what they've done to Ray and Sara's characters. The problem is I feel the need to keep watching just in case something they do effects the Flarrowverse >_<

They obviously broke the timeline therefore making him American. Maybe. Probably...

You both must have missed the bit where they stated they came from England in an attempt to help his illness? And he especially wanted to see the wild west... Unless I dreamt that bit.

Oh...maybe they did. I zoned in and out of the episode as it was hard to pay attention. I barely even picked up that they called the kid HG Wells by the end.
