US: DC's Legends of Tomorrow

As much as I love comic based shows, for the life of me I cannot understand just what 'Captain Cold' and 'Heat Wave' bring to any party. All they are are two thieves with guns. Guns, that I might add, that don't seem to harm a single opponent, even when they're firing them randomly into a room crowded with opponents.

Heat Wave's gun: by all rights there should be burning enemies running around screaming for their life as they're incinerated and the entire room/building should be an inferno.

Captain Cold's gun: it used to instantly freeze any people, and objects, it hits to absolute zero. So, how come there are zero frozen enemies left after a fight?

Totally agree been thinking that since day 1 from Flash. Over melodramatic but don't do an awful lot. I guess they just wanted to shoe horn the famous "Rogues" but not let harm anyone.

Lol I love the "malcontents" come on, the scene where captain cold went to try and change his past was very good. They also have some quality lines. You have to understand that they are both criminals and have pretty much been shanghaied and landed with the people they were against until recently. I can see them changing their ways and becoming more than criminals.

I have to admit that the previous poster is right about the weapons but I am pretty sure I saw someone get burnt or frozen in the latest ep. I dont see complaints either when firestorm or atom miss people constantly.

I also feel they bring a sense of balance to the gung ho, let's kill savage posse, while trying to use their situation in their favour... For the moment.

"I love the 70s" :D

Thing is it makes sense why Firestorm and Atom won't fire straight at someone's heart and go for a kill shot.

With the Rogues their only reason for not killing was so that it doesn't bring the Flash down on them, here free of such restrains and brought along on a mission specifically to kill, they still don't.

You are crazy, she is smoking imo. She is hotter than Laurel.

If your talking about ugly hawk horse girl gets my vote. She should not speak or smile in fact wear she should wear a mask all the time. How on earth did she get casted ??

You're kidding right? Hawkgirl is the hottest of the lot by a long shot, she's just beautiful!!! :o:o:o:o

Unfortunately all I see when I see hawkgirl on screen is:

other than that I'm finding it hard to keep up with all the shows at the moment.

Going to try and catch up with this one though.

had to give up on this, which i kind of expected would happen, sticking with the Arrow as i kind of feel i should now, but this and the flash just dulled out on me

I just don't rate Barry :)

I didnt either to begin with but looks can be deceiving. Grant Gustin really has grown into the role and made it his own. that imo of course.

The Flash just broke records ratings for the show so it must be doing something right.

The Flash's episode Tuesday night was called "Welcome to Earth-2," but it might as well have been titled "Welcome to Amazing Ratings." The episode, which took stars to the alternate universe, delivered the highest ratings for the series since December 2014 in total viewers and 18-49, and the best 18-34 ratings since the first episode of the entire series.

The 3.97 million total viewers came with a 1.6 demo (18-49) rating. That's a season high, and a 14% increase over last week. Fellow DC Comics (via Vertigo) series iZombie followed up with a .6 and 1.49 million, up a tenth from the previous week.

Agent Carter, up against iZombie in the 9pm hour, did a .8 on 2.86 million viewers, and fellow ABC series The Muppets led-into it with a .9 and 2.93 million, giving both those series a steady run from last week.

The Flash notably beat every series in its hour except the ratings juggernaut NCIS. Only NCIS: New Orleans and Chicago Fire also beat The Flash in ratings on the night, a huge victory for The CW in general and The Flash specifically. In network averages for Tuesday night, The CW placed third, beating both FOX and ABC in demo ratings, and beating FOX in total viewers, as well.

Supergirl the other surprising show, so it makes sense they are going to cross over.
