Dead Rising 3 latest vid just got me very interested in the game.

Time left on the bottom screen, its displaying a time limit? I thought they ditched that?
The time limit is in the nightmare mode (I think that's its name), which is a return to the old style time limit with limited saves. In the standard mode, there is no time limit.

Wow, that looks absolutely amazing, and it's clear a to of love has gone into it. Some great humour injected into it too!

I'm increasingly tempted to pre-order this which is daft as I never finished the other two. :p Always rubbish at them!
Be a nice bit of symmetry though as Dead Rising 1 was the game that I bought the 360 for. :)

I noticed the frame rate drops, but I'm hopeful that as we're still 3/4 months away from release, all that can be ironed out and turned into a nice stable 30 FPS or whatever they're aiming for.

I thought the standard for this generation was supposed to be 1080p at 60fps? I suppose though with the lowly 7790 you are going to struggle. I really think this decision will harm this console greatly in the years to come.

I guess we'll have to wait and see won't we? :)

Most consoles gamers won't really care about frame rate as long as it's stable to the devs will.typically go for better graphics, ai etc before frame rate.

I wasn't interested in this, I was getting the Xbone for Forza but this is actually looking really good so can't wait to play it.

Well a slew of new screenshots have landed, and they don't blow me away.
Having seen screenshots in the past, and seen gameplay videos, I don't think the screenshots do it justice when it's in motion. I don't think games like Dead Rising are about the graphics anyway. I think it's more about using the power of the new hardware to render more zombies at once, and have a much larger map will absolutely no loading screens :)

Indeed, it's like saying Crysis looks better than GTA5. It's all about scale.

DR3 is going to make me day 1 an XB1 goddamnit! The power of exclusives.

I really hope it's massive so you can just wander off with a mate and mess around.

I've heard it's bigger than DR1 and 2 combined. That'd do me fine, especially with no loading screens.

Just thought as well, no loading screens should make it easier to escort survivors around, as you won't have to wait by doors for them.

There is a new 10 minute gameplay video up on IGN, looks good.

Link

Although there is a really bad op-in at 0:49 into the video which I hope is not there in the final game, also about two minutes in there is a massive explosion of a car and the blood that flies everywhere looks brilliant.

Definite purchase for me on day one with my console.
