Dead Rising 3 latest vid just got me very interested in the game.

It's a shame there still appears to be a few framerate issues at times, but I'm sure that's still being worked on and will be ironed out for launch. We're still 3 or so months away after all, plenty of time for them to get everything sorted out.

Yeah, hopefully that won't be a big issue when it's finished, though as they're doing one huge world with no loading screens, I imagine we'll see some pop-in at some point. Hopefully not though.

A Capcom rep has confirmed that DR3 is NOT a timed exclusive. It will not be appearing on PS4 or PC. Wonder how the PS4 fans will feel about that?

Never been interested in the dead rising games so it's not one i'm bothered about. I wonder if Microsoft have bought the rights to the DR franchise to lock this in exclusively?

Quite possibly. The original Dead Rising was exclusive to the 360, so perhaps they see it as an Xbox franchise and wanted to keep it that way.

Although there is a really bad op-in at 0:49 into the video which I hope is not there in the final game, also about two minutes in there is a massive explosion of a car and the blood that flies everywhere looks brilliant.

Definite purchase for me on day one with my console.

Just watching this properly - couldn't IGN have picked someone to play the game who is actually good at games? The dude is horribly bad, it's making me cringe!

It looks tons of fun and im gutted that its not coming to the ps4 but the one thing that looks a little worrying is the framerate...it drops to a snails pace at times..i guess its just a little dissapointing seeing that on a next gen console that hasn't even been released yet. I think id rather them have less zombies and better fps.

The dev on the IGN video acknowledged the framerate and said its one of the things they're still working on. From what he said the game is basically finished, it's just polishing it off nd fixing bugs now.

Got it free at the weekend from xbl sub. It's fun but all the loading screens and cutscenes where doing my head in. Just interrupts the game play.

The game looks insanely fun, as one of my favourite things to do in Dead Rising is just to run around, trying out different weapons and just murdering zombies in as many fun ways as possible. With so many weapons in DR3, all the new combo weapons, and no restrictive time limit, I can see myself having many many hours of fun with this.
