we've always ticked the debadge option on the 5s, i think it looks cleaner
plus there's nothing special about a 525d![]()
Yup, mine came pre-debadged.
Much nicer!

Obviously you get the odd person who genuinely wants to be descrete, even if it is to have some fun with chavs, but badges don't generally look bad,
Put it this way you don't see many genuine BMW M series cars de badged, it is always the 320i etc.
but oh yeah it looks so much better.
lol.

yours will be a giveaway by the oval exhaust pipe
whenever i see an e60 denzil debadged i do tend to think that theyre trying to hide the fact that its diesel tho![]()

No oval exhaust on mine (530d Sport).![]()
I'm not sure if it's an optional extra on top of the sport package or whether it's only for the petrols.
You might be right about hiding the fact that it's a diesel though.![]()
Having said that, it still shifts when it needs to so I don't think I really need to hide anything.
There was a chavtastic Sierra on the M27 yesterday that certainly wanted to play when they saw a young guy in a 5 series. Seeing as they nearly killed themselves trying to stop me from over-taking them I decided to stay well clear of them!

if i did more mileage than i would probably be in a denzil to be fair. im currently getting 180 miles to a tank - all/mostly town driving!
1) Badge it as a poverty spec diesel model.
2) Make boy racers cry.
3) Profit.
They would if you gave it mad revs, wound down your window and made eyes at their wimmin.

I de-badged my BMW looks a lot better now.

Debadged my 2.0 Focus, didn't want all the Chav scum trying to race me in their CORSAZ OF POWER!!!111one

I thought I would bring this thread back up as I've come full circle and face the same decision. Had my new T5 for a few months now and debating whether or not to debadge it. I never got round to deciding on my last T5 so hopefully now I can make my mind up this time.

I think the facelift S60's with the badges on both sides look better than the one in the OP. I'd keep them.
