Indeed guys, ha it was only a laugh...

Though with an appropriate mounting system, 4 of the 2405FPWs giving a true resolution of 3840x2400 would be quite sweet :D

On another note, I'm very impressed with the quality of the analogue signal input on the monitor - light years ahead of the 2000FP in quality, especially at such a high resolution.

/edit

You certainly have a point Captain Fripplesnap... I only use the second monitor anyway for actually being able to see my desktop wallpaper :p

Nice to see a dual setup, now that be good for multitasking indeed.

Dual Set
1920 x 1200
1920 x 1200
------------
3840 x 2400

Dual 19" & Projector
1280 x 1024
1280 x 1024
1280 x 720
------------
3840 x 2768

Ha Ive still got more desktop than you, but just :p
Just trying to convice myself I dont need them is all but damn Im still envious though twins would be super.

Really looking great mate nice one.

I know you're having a joke, but your maths is a bit suspect

(1920*1200)*2 = 4,608,000 pixels
((1280*1024)*2)+(1280*720) = 3,543,040 pixels

EDIT - actually, looking at it again, I think my maths is a bit suspect as well! Sod it, I'm going to bed!

As much as I love and desire the Dell 24" Wide, I'm going to go for the 20" Wide instead.

That is a monster resolution to be driving games at and I couldn't possibly afford to keep splashing out on a top end graphics card to drive that thing in its native res.

I have a 6800GT that would have no problem driving either now, but I feel the 20" will allow me to get more life out of the card due to its lower native res requirements.

people have been driving those screens at that res in high graphics without problems. I Honest think with the Dell 20" widescreen issues you will regret it.

if i wanted 20" i'd wait for a monitor using samsung's 20" panel to come out, definately (seeing as it must be similar to this, but smaller)

Interesting.

If its the same panel as used in the Dell 2405 but 20" instead of 24" then I'd definately hold out.

Got mine today, very impressive.

Lowest height from desk to the top are 45cm.
