Yeah just about the only thing it cant do is show 2 Pcs at once in 50:50 eg: like VGA & DVI.
Of course there is a way around this by outputting the 2nd Pc via S Video Tv output. Although Id recommend those interested import the ATI component connection output adapter used in USA for HDTV, as this will easily connect and give high resolution output as normal
Can someone tell me how Samsung is to sell the 242MP at anywhere near the listed prices, if its a simular product panel wise to this, okay its got speakers a Tv tuner and remote but it doesnt have Portrait a card reader etc, curious as to whats happening it as it was meant to be released in Feb.

The ASUS X850XT PE that I got in the UK last week includes a component connection lead and the box is marked with 'HDTV', not sure which other versions ship with it.

well i tried the xbox just now via x2vga. its locked @ 480p with that. so i will have to wait.

every TFT I've seen running consoles look awefull, and my Viewsonic has vertical badning with an external tuner

Ive got my xbox with high def pack, so ill give it a go on that.

Can anyone who has the monitor connected via DVI confirm if the Auto adjust button works. On my old 1901FP I could press auto adjust and would work fine but doesnt work on the 2405FPW.
Not a big problem really as the picture is fantastic. Have played a few games on it now and they all supported 1920x1200. Have played Wow, Far Cry and UT2004 all looked great and no problem with frame rates with all detail set to highest level. My graphics card is a Connet3D X850XT.
Does anyone have there Telewest cable box connected to this monitor - the only connection I can see on the back of the box is SCART and not being very technical I dont know if there is a way I could connect it via Scart to the monitor.

I did have what seemed like 3 dead pixels on one of my 2001FP monitors when I first got it, but after a gentle massaging/cleaning of screen they disappeared.
I read that gentle massaging of the dead pixels can bring them back to life, but I stress gentle. There most probably just stuck pixels rather than completely knackered. Did the trick for me.

anyways got the usa version GT4 working.
under 480p mode screen says it is in 480i not too sure why.
& a similar shot in 1080i
madagascar dvix HD trailer on xbmc @ 1080i (left camera flash on by mistake)
intital D @ 1080i
not too sure why but running both madagascar trailer an initial d normal res showed a lot of artifacts on the pic quality.
anyways got the usa version GT4 working.

Images look nice from the consoles
Just compare the road marking lines in the 480p to the 1080 mode, as I find on my projector its a little better looking, ok not true hidef but with the 1125 horizontal lines the game uses it does improve things / jaggies overall are far less a problem.
Your 480p shot is being stretched vertically are you sure the PS2 was set to 16:9 mode in both the the machine and the games settings with 480p selected also?

yep i noticed the road markings and the stretched car roofs/windscreens as well.
both shots were taken in 16:9 mode the game play and feels better in 1080i mode.
know any sites with quicktime HD trialers on ?
oh and you mentioned ikaruga, i thougt it was a dreamcast/gamecube only game.
