Any stories of dead pixals. Never been so tempted to replace my benq x2410 120hz. So many bad models out there its like Russian roulette.
Thanks mate.
Looks great, I'd get some black or dark grey felt on the back and side of your desk walls though.
Which mousemat is that? Looking to buy a new one and that size is perfect!
Try this one it has better sRGB coverage compared to the one linked

Was thinking of going for the ASUS PG279Q but the quality problems has really put me off it. What cables do this monitor come with? (I just wont to be able to use it when I get it )

Thanks pal, top one seems like a big improvement
Did they swap out the one with the dead pixels with no bother?
If you were considering the Asus IPS but build quality is putting you of then go for the Acer xb271hu. Build quality from user reports on OCN is much better than Asus, whilst level of IPS blow is still a lottery it does seem better. Monitor build dates from people who have managed to get one from UK are November 2015 and it doesn't appear to have pixel inversion whilst browsing also.
However if you really want a TN panel then the Dell comes with a DP cable.
np if you want a bit more pop add around 54-56% vibrancy from nvidia control panel

Itching to get this monitor. I really need to replace my HP 2010i. Will this make a good pair for my 980ti?
Your not making my choices any easier
I wanted a G-sync ISP monitor but seen the numerous problems with the panels in the thread for it. I've had a dell for ages and seen the S2716DG as people seem impressed with it and the price is OK I've been kind of leaning in its direction.
I guess the question is ISP really that much better for TN
