We don't offer onsite service, we could get it collected, once back here, send a new one out.

But the DELL service is the best, they come to you, take old one away, give you a new one.

You could say that about the ASUS PG279Q, that's a mind-boggling £700+ and that one is not even close to 100%.

Mines due to arrive today! I'm praying i get a decent one! But as gibbo said dell door swap service is great! So if any isssues it will get sorted eventually

PCM2 or Badass is Pixel inversion a trait of the panel or a defect?

I honestly don't notice it in games, but for example if I am browsing the main page of this website when I scroll down I do notice that the black lines that separate all sections produce the faint horizontal lines across the page.

Edit - This is what I mean, I never had that with my Asus vg278h which was TN 1080p 120hz

Requested a replacement from Dell but due to the Holidays they will get back to me on Monday now.

Mine was due today but got the nice email off DPD, "We're sorry your delivery has been delayed", no reason, just delayed, wait another day. :mad:

It's been in the Leeds depot since 05:05.

To be honest, since Christmas Eve we've sold a few hundred of these, it is our best selling monitor by two fold, crazy its a £400 unit that is out selling every other monitor we sell, but our price is amazing and we have stock.

Once again price will go up in new year to £499, DELL have increased my cost.

Just received mine, looks very promising so far. No dead pixels, just need it to settle down before I get to calibrate it. Manufacture date: Oct 2015

you will be blown away , i have 3 of these in surround , i know the 2 i had yesterday are going back to be replaced due to 1 dead pixel on 1 and the other a very tiny bit of dirt ..not really noticeable the dirt but im not paying near £1300 for 3 monitors that 1 has dirt in it could cause problems , but my god 3 in surround is so impressive. and with the thin bezel it makes it even better . the 1 i had last week is near perfect and such a pleasure to game on , with all 3 on max settings without AA im getting 120fps with project cars and oh boy does it feel good . it takes some getting use too as the immersive effect made me dizzt for first 20 mins as your eyes need to adjust. cant go back now ,
even crysis 3 im getting 70-80 fps on max settings with not AA , with water turned down to high .

No they won't. My fault one went back under DSR but the guy told me on the phone they wouldn't for one. But I imagine Dell probably would if its an issue. Have to say OCUK have handled my return very well, they've processed the refund already and I only sent it back yesterday.

strange they have told me by email they will exchange both mine , i think they have to as these dell monitors come with premium panel warranty , meaning 1 dead pixel and its exchanged .

if they change there stance when they get it back there will be hell to pay as i could have dealt with dell instead .
