Totally agree, superb game from back in the day, looking for to the new one coming out. There seems to be a few of the old games making a resurgence, Delta Force, Project IGI and I can't wait

Looking forward to getting back into this, albeit for just a week.
It'll be interesting to see what new things are added although I know the Chinese version has been out for a bit and there's been a few map tweaks and new weapons. Probably won't see anymore than what's released there for now.

I highly recommend people try FR33THY `s config he has on github via his video on YT for the game.
Yes the game is well optimized but his config takes out every bit of input lag and still looks fantastic.
The game itself is a great as ever, we need more maps though.

From what I've seen in videos today the version out now is the same as the previous version from closed alpha which is a shame as there were new map tweaks in the Chinese version.
I guess this is more of a stress test where closed alpha was supposedly up to 300,000 invites and this open alpha is a free-for-all so server capacity is being tested here.
There should be an event or two on the Hazard Ops mode, Tactical Turmoil has increased rates of mandelbricks and major missions.

This game is worse than the month long alpha, which was great. Lag, stuttering, slow as heck movement.

anytime i go into an area with more than like 5 people the game starts stuttering to unplayable levels
Even if some have no issues, releasing the SAME build as an Alpha that came out over a month ago, isn't a good sign

I keep getting a server runtime error (stuck at 23% loading) but from what I played (first time) I quite like it, just seems like BF5 in the modern day.
