Very active at the moment. There is a core group that raid a lot, another that pvp a lot and we setup teaching raids every weekend to help people who haven’t done it before. That will help with the power level grind.

Should jump in, on discord as well as that is where everything happens.

I am waiting till the midnight coup is available to setup a teaching Levi run as a few of the new guys in the clan don’t have it so feel free to jump in discord one day and we can set something up.

I have run hundreds of Levi’s, normal and prestige but since they put a blocker on the power level gear from it it died off however the coup is still the best pve hand cannon in the game. The last wish raid is still a hot topic as many still need the exotic from the end, one thousand voices. Said above but that is a weekly teaching run and speed run in my group.

This week is the exception though, new raid on Friday and black armory

Never thought it'd get it's hooks into me so much, i've only had it a month or so and play rarely as my time is limited but up to 80 hours already. Not bad for someone who can normally only play about 60-90 minutes a day.
 
First time actually making use of Discord yesterday. Not sure how active the few guys I played with are on the Forums. Did a little Gambit and some close fought nightfall strikes for the 100k goal. I was running a pretty bad loadout tbh. Need to upgrade some of my gear. Good fun though :)
 
I saw someone run a Nightfall solo on youtube the other day with a 68x difficulty multiplier and only using grenades and the hammer with the solar titan build, just strolled through. No use of weapons or supers at all all the way through.

Got a link? Sounds epic lol. Absolutely struggled at some points with my lack of DPS on loadout.

I'll dig it out when I get home, at work and YT is banned :(

He had some specific build as his grenade and hammer icons were literally refilling in about 4/5 seconds each so it was constant barrage from both.

Probably Esoterick, he does a lot of solo challenges. Solo nightfalls aren't too bad at the moment, especially with scores as you can lower your power level to the requirement of the strike (don't get bonuses for being above) but he is just insane. He does like community votes for weapons to use, or not use in this case haha

The main influencer in scored NF's is the handicap to be honest so if the whole fireteam is over 540, you can use the handicap to lower yourself to 540 with no noticeable difference. Then for negative modifiers, extinguish, match game and blackout/grounded are my go options normally.

Stayed up way too long last night grinding my first character as high power as I could, tonight its the second character. Need to get raid ready for Friday!
 
Ok, I think I need some pointers. How do I gear up my character? As in what do I need to concentrate on? I am currently level 24 with 285 power and that's with my Hunter. I've yet to start on my Titan as I want to get my Hunter to 50 first. But I seem to just upgrade everything in my character blindly cos I just think "ooooh new shiny, must use". Are there any particular weapons I should ideally be using to do the most damage and such? I am enjoying the game a lot.

Until you are max character level and finish story, just whack on whatever gear you get that is higher to be honest. Don't worry too much until then.

Legendaries are the focus anyway for gear but the best gear is at end game.
 
Joined the clan the other day and have been reading the chat on discord...so many abbreviations used that I have no clue what they mean.

Going to try and get on tonight for 2/3 hours, while I have around 80 odd hours in game, i'm still pretty noob'ish as it's mostly solo play. Prepare for some stupid questions. :D

Ok cool. Thanks! I did some Gambit the other night and had a real blast so I will continue with more of that to get my levels and power up until I can do the Mars mission which requires 310 power. But I am not far off as I am on 295 on level 26!
 
Day 1 raid done!

We setup games on the100 every weekend to teach LW and will be doing the same with the new one prob in a few weeks
 
Why, oh, why isn't Forsaken available on its own now? After buying the base game and season pass, I feel thoroughly ripped off that Forsaken comes with the first two DLCs.

Activision have essentially raised a middle finger to the early(ish) adopters.
