Main activities are doing overthrows in the pale heart and the seasonal activities on Nessus/Helm. Alongside the usual activities for getting powerful/pinnacles to up your light level. If you have a fireteam there are new missions that require co-operation (cooperative focus missions and an exotic mission).
Also look for the pathfinder node on the pale heart and in the ritual activities, this largely replaces the bounty system and is another source of prime engrams and the Ergo Sum sword.

Just completed Excision on Grandmaster via the Fireteam Finder, took a lot of attempts to find a team who could stick it and not chain die but was a great rush to finally crack it!
Just need to get through Dual Destiny and the Co-op focus missions now.

Cleared the main FS campaign and moving onto the Echo’s now, overall it was okay, nothing great, although the final Witness battle was pretty epic. Probably just enough going on with D2 to keep me dipping in and out for a little while to come.

Should be on from around 8:30 this evening.I've been enjoying it, the story is one of the better campaigns they have put out (especially comapred to the garbage that was Lightfall) and there is plenty to do and find in the world. It's not been too grindy, getting pinnacles is easier than ever so even as a solo player I've maxed my power level from gear already.
The seasonal event is pretty rubbish though in my opinion, I've done the minimum necessary for unlocks but its uninspired and also quite badly tuned and buggy in places.

I've come back to finalshape after a long time off and have been enjoying it.
Powerlevel is pointless though it's so easy to get and most activities will auto level your team to the highest persons powerlevel. This has meant the only things I've had to grind for is the exotic class item, which was a bit rubbish with how many versions there are and no dupe control. And upgrade materials for weapons etc.
The story has been good but I dislike the drip feeding, tune in next week kids, they were still using. Good news is they've just announced they're moving away from this and you should be able to do as much of the act story as you want. Assuming you buy final stand and the annual pass to get all of the Acts.

The bows not too bad but then again I dont like using bows. The rocket is not bad but so many rockets in the game anyway
I'm the same I don't use bows much and I have good rocket launchers already and don't need another shotgun

The shotgun is PVP one unless i am Mistaken. Pvp is horrible in this game. Casual iron banner is fine though but comp and trials - yuck
Totally agree Iron Banner is my go to pvp and if I need to a little bit of crucible,

Its a shame they made the raid so complicated - impossible to find a group for it now as they all state x amount of clears and KWTD or kicked. Sadly the final nail in the coffin for me. Ill still play it but less and less and eventually a new game. Come on new Battlefield and COD !
You never thought about joining a clan or a shout out for a sherpa run?

I am in a clan but many people are leaving or stopping playing and yes used LFGs on the LFGS discords loads in the pass but its a lot harder these days. Even other friends in other clans have stopped playing I used to raid regularly with sadly/
It's got bad recently and even more so now, the once great Serphas is not doing to well at all and that was my go to group for help, I'm not sure what's going to happen in the future as the last bunch of lay offs from Bungie has maybe caused more damage
