Destiny 2

Good bit of fun this evening. Decent missions with an ok overall story. ( there does look to be a lot more story hidden / quests / adventures) A vast improvement over Curse of boredom. Time will tell whether it can keep us playing, but right now it looks like there is plenty to do and grind for. I was very sceptical given where D2 had ended up but it looks like they are actually trying (buffs not nerds are on the table). I remain cautiously optimistic given we have only done the story so far.

Additionally it looks like the grind is real.

I have got a wall at 345 with only the powerful engrams allowing a higher power level. Will need to play some more tomorrow to see whether there are other ways to get the PL up.

Also the escalation protocol is damn hard at 340... recommends 380... lol. Heroics are also pretty tough under levelled.

Finally the Graviton Lance is utterly brilliant now!

That escalation protocol was a nightmare, 3 times got the ogre down to an eighth of its health and the time ran out. I too hit a wall after hitting 340. hopefully there is enough to do, got the hand cannon quest on at the moment.

Holy crap that Ogre. We were doing ok until he showed up. Took out 5 of us like we were thrall. Did get him down to around the same amount but ran out of time / heavy / supers.

I have a small clan with a group of 4 friends, we like to play together and keep our clan, but we are also interested in getting a raid run setup on a regular basis as we're missing out a heap of content currently. What is the easiest way to get an extra 2 players to raid with without changing clans etc. anyone have any experience with guided games or the easiest way to go about raiding, as we are 4 mature regular players with a half decent sense of awareness and understanding of both D1 & D2, just never seen any 6 man content..

Edit: Playing on PSN & currently enjoying the new expansion "SnoreGrind"

Originally there was a thread setup specifically for that purpose, but given thats died a death and there is interest in this thread I would post here. Something in the format of Raid Type/Time who's currently signed up and leave space for 2 more to sign up as needed. Then use the PSN party chat to co-ordinate etc. Alternatively you can use the100.io site, https://www.the100.io/.

Just realised i had bought Season Pass with Destiny 2, played the game through the story and then kinda gave up as i was clanless and didnt know anyone else really playing on Xbone... so theres now been 2 expansions? hmmm is there a list anywhere of improvements made to the game since it was released? i cant recall having any real issues with the game other than it was kinda boring once you finished the story, but im guessing a lot of that is down to playing Solo.
