I'm only 29 as well so we'd need at least 2 or 3 30's to even it up I'd say. Plus, I've never done hard before! I can bring VoC, void fusion, and Gjallarhorn (all maxed out) to make up for my lowly 29 level though.

I'd say you need at least 4 level 30s to do it on hard. 29s simply cannot consistently do enough damage with the relic inside the portals.

Im happy to run your save point after weve done normal and hard tonight if we can get enough and have the time. Shouldnt be hard to get 6 people that are stuck on the same save on hard tbh - what I ended up doing a couple of weeks ago with people on here...

If only 29s get portalled in just run out when the portal is up ;) - live to fight another portal run that way...

Hopefully we'll be quick on our raid run so I'll be up for joining you and chewie after (it's only the end boss how hard can it be? lol :) )

We might be able to skip straight to it as I'm not sure if everyone will be up for doing hard mode after the normal run - depends how late we get.

Question, why don't we just do hard mode instead of normal then hard? I thought you got twice the loot on hard if not done it on easy previously?
 
Exactly. Not sure why you'd run it twice.

You can get double drops or you can get none doing it on hard. You have the same chance of getting nothing doing it separately

Sorry they let you down bud :( First and Last time i vouch for them. Hooded asked.me what time the raid was and i told him 2! Did you manage to run it in the end?

We completed normal mode quickly (barring the silly atheon bugs which just seemed to be getting worse!), then got to Atheon on hard mode before calling it a night.

Will try and organise last bit of the hard mode for sunday night with the current team. Well played fellas, that 'one last try' paid off lol :)

Because it seems the RNG tends to duplicate the drops when you do hard on its own while if you need a specific normal-only drop you increase the variety of the drops IME by running them seperately...

Its weird how it pulls from the loot tables as the chances of duplication shouldn't occur if it pulls one from the normal and then one from the hard but perhaps the hard loot table includes all the normal loot too :confused:

need some help on Atheon on the PS4 if theres people around that can help me out.

I did the normal on my main with some randoms and then we switched to our alts to give it ago, we managed to get up to Atheon before the Sleepy bugs attacks and everyone started to leave.

Any chance of some help to finish him of :D
 
So another hard mode raid completed and no mythoclast

I'm up to 7 full clears of it now :(

On the other hand I now have 3 legendary sparrows, 3 legendary loading screens, 2 hazen vengence, 2 found verdicts, 2 praediths revenge, one fate bringer, 4 atheons epilogues, 3 vision of confluence and 1 complete set of Raid Armor for my titan and all except boots for my Hunter.

But no mythoclast. God damn thing keeps eluding me.
