Would be up for both, if I can get my warlock to 30 tonight I would like a go at VoG on hard as he’s not yet been through it. If not I’ll bring the titan to both (lvl 31), should also have the icebreaker mk2 maxed tonight which will do nicely. Just need a bit of luck with the RNG to get some new legendary primary/heavy weapons to drop (not had one yet, and legendary engrams have become the old 300 max ones for me).

Nah. Me, LazyBoy and Rabbit have all done it.
We have a spot free on the raid tomorrow if anyone wants to join up. We're starting at 7.
I think all of us are 31.

Our xbox team got from start to crota checkpoint on tuesday night within 4 hours but struggled getting the runs dialled when tackling crota. Tried a few nights this week but finally nailed it tonight! Team consisted of:

Sooooo happy we nailed it. Black hammer for 2 of us, heavy machine gun for parko, ships, shaders, matching emblems. Very pleased.
Raid drops for me so far are Shotgun, gauntlets, rocket launcher and sniper spread over 3 characters. Just hoping for materials now! lol

Yeah that map will be really useful, going to solo it today when I get in. Not tried the shortcut way over the second light, you cut half the map out lol.

How do you make the jump though? Do you need to blast yourself forward with the explosion?
From what I have seen yes you do. You also need to "aim" for where you are going to land as well so no doubt trial and error will come into play.
Yeah I think you have to wait until the light expodes, and if you are in the correct place it will sent you to the 11th light tower. Not really fussed though, pretty easy to solo with a titan and hunter to be honest, I've not tried it with my warlock yet.
Finally beat Crota last night and got the Black Hammer sniper for my efforts. Really happy with that as its almost the new Ice Breaker.
Being the swordbearer is massive pressure! Got so close a number of times, but messed up the jump or ran in too early etc. Bladedancer with invis is definitely the way to go though!

Will be running the Titan tonight, did not get the warlock up to level 30 (short of a commendation to get the final armour piece
), on the bright side ice breaker 2.0 is now maxed so interested to see what the difference is between a lvl 30 and 300max against lvl 31 and the new one.

The hardest part of a hard raid always seems to be the templar but hopefully with 30's and 31's with maxxed old and some new buffed weapons he will go down easy.
Did hard with a 28 and a 29, as long as you got a few 30s with snipers/gjalla he goes down easy enough. I was amazed the difference doing hard at 30 instead of 29. At 29 you spend most of your time trying to stay alive and breaking out of the damn shield. At 30 you can basically ignore the harpies, take the odd hit from the templar, and bust out of the shield in no time.
Be interested to see how my 330 legendary launcher stacks up to my 300 gjalla.

Was amazing to get it done.
The only challenge left for me now is flawless raider.
Now that we're level 31 with 300 + attack weapons, Anybody fancy going back now and doing Vault of Glass on normal and aim for flawless raider ?
