Also have myhoclast, hawkmoon, last word, monte carlo and a few others.

I usually use icebreaker but lately ive found its actually not that great for an exotic unless your a camper

Depends....I have actually had some luck on drops recently so have a decent arsenal to pick from.

For VoG :
Entry + Confluxes:
Epilogue/Void Fusion/Gjallahorn
Oracles + Templar + Gatekeepers + Atheon
VoC/Black Hammer/Gjallahorn

My Black Hammer is maxed now and it absolutely wrecks bosses...I don't think there's a better combo for dishing out the DPS in raids than BH + Gjallahorn. If we're not struggling I'll probably switch out Gjalla for Hezen Vengeance so I can use Hard Light primary.

It depends on what guns you like, which raid, what role you doing and what part of which raid.

VoG - for the sync plate I use Mythoclast, Praedyths Revenge (Void) and Corrective Measure (Void). For the oracles I switch to VoC, Icebreaker and Corrective Measure as VoC and Corrective measure do extra oracle damage while Icebreaker can be used for taking out the vex snipers. For the gatekeeper portals I switch to Mythoclast, Void shotgun and Corrective Measure (void) then for Atheon I go back to my oracles set up of VoC, Icebreaker and Corrective Measure.

Since the DLC though this has changed slightly to use a 331 Scout rifle (Another NITC) instead of VoC and using Black Hammer instead of Ice Breaker.

Out of the ones you listed for VoG - I would run Epilogue as void damage is good against the Praetorians. Sniper as most of the raid is mid or longe range. Truth again for void damage.

For CE I started with: lamps section mythoclast, Shotgun for thralls and Hezen Vengance for ogres at the end. Bridge section Mythoclost, Murmur and Solar LMG (can't remember name). For witch and Crota I go to VoC, Ice Breaker and Hezen Vengance.

Again thought since getting the new Scout rifle I prefer using it as it does more damage than VoC.

Out of the ones you listed for CE, fatebringer is good at the thralls if you have firefly perk unlocked. If you are cheesing the bridge then sniper is neeeded otherwise fusion rifle but once across the bridge you deal with wizrds/witches then solar is always best. As solar is good I would also say Hezen Vengange for rockets. If you are rocketing the witch in the middle I also found tracking rockets to be a pain due to the amount she moves around - something like hezen vengange often get small amount of splash damage especially with the extra warhead perk thing whereas tracking rockets often hit the pillars or crystal so did 0 damage.

For VoG, right up until Atheon, I go with:

Fatebringer
Light/Beware (void fusion)
Gjallarhorn

If I'm up top during Oracles/Templar, I switch to use Praedyth's Revenge - if I had Icebreaker I would use that though.

For Atheon, I usually go with:

Vision of Confluence (for Oracles/Supplicants)
Praedyth's Revenge (for hitting Atheon from the middle if I run out of heavy)
Gjallarhorn (for Atheon, outside bubble of course)

If I only had the weapons you've mentioned, I'd use Hezen instead of Gjallarhorn, a void fusion for sync plates, confluxes etc (anywhere I need to take out Praetorians or Minotaurs) and Icebreaker for everything else.
Fatebringer is my favourite weapon for raids - I only swap it out on VoG hard mode at Atheon as VoC is slightly better against Oracles once in the portals.

For Crota, my setup is exactly the same except I use Murmur on Arc as my special.

I think im going to run fatebringer, black hammer and truth.

May switch to epilogue, icebreaker and hezen/corrective measure if need but I have so many weapons that i never use like plan c, pocket infinity, swordbreaker, mythoclast, etc

I start with Mythoclast, Purifier VII, and corrective measure.
Second part of the templar bit I switch to Voc, Icebreaker and some cruddy rocket launcher.
Then back to starting config but with VoC instead of Mythoclast.

Always run with the Golden Gun too, it's awesome for clearing harpies at critical moments lol

Might try something different for tonight - depends how heavily I'm 'required'

Only guns I'm interested in acquiring are Fatebringer and Gallyhorn (as if theres any freak occurance of that actually happening with my luck!)

golden gun is a must, plus I have the 4 shots perk, so it's just insane when it comes to orbs.

with 4 shots i will generate a ton of orbs, meaning others supers will be powered up and used, creating more orbs and it's a vicious cycle. at one point in the last raid we had a chain going on for a couple of minutes it was hilarious how many orbs there were, i've never seen so many before. it was during the defend the confluxes part i'm sure

Cheers all for the raid earlier. I finally got my hands on Atheon's Epilogue! Now I just need to level it up so it's a bit more usable, and take it into the Crucible to finally get through the Thorn bounty!

I wonder if Bungie have tweaked the RNG for VoG since Crota's End was released? There was only 3 weapons that I still needed: Atheon's Epilogue, Corrective Measure, and Praetorian Foil. I've run VoG normal twice since then and got Corrective Measure and, now, Atheon's Epilogue. I'll need to run it on hard now to see if I get Praetorian Foil to complete the set.

Yeah thanks for the raid earlier lads, pleasantly surprised that I only lagged out once! Got the Epilogue again for about the 4th time. I only seem to get that and Praedyth's Revenge these days.

Should be back on decent internet by tomorrow night so I might join you Si.

Yep cheers all, was quite a painless run for my 2nd time, the first time was the previous night on 360 with several 11 year olds, boy was that painful to the eardrums :]

Hi guys. Excellent game this finally got me off Clash of Clans Any guys on PSN have room for a VOG virgin? Started playing this last weekend and hooked and really looking to do VOG to experiance it and hopefully get some loot ☺ Level 27 Hunter.
