What time is the raid for the group that started it yesterday? I think we said 8.30ish?

Fridays generally are difficult for me, so probably best to stick me as a sub as I might not be around - also gives others a chance to enjoy the raid...

Jesus that was tough - level 26 just makes me as tough as custard - thanks for the last minute join Sieze2. Least we can get it done and dusted tomorrow - bring those heavy ammo packs!
And seriously void fusion rifles are epic against shielded stuff in the VoG - doesnt matter if its rare...

I have to disagree - try the same tactics on nightfall and you'll realise how important it is to match the elements with the enemy shields as the wrong element just means you'll do damage as if it was a normal gun.It was very tough.. but it is doable.
The thing with void damage.. I can understand it.. however...
I have a flame fusion rifle and its so powerful it removes the shields in one shot.. and then allows me to switch to my primary and destroy the minotaur/Pretorians.
I think void is required if you have a lesser powered weapon.. but once you get past a certain level of attack I believe that any elemental damage will do the same thing.
Xbox was telling me last night that the impact is so high on his hand cannon that it removes the shields with one hit and then obliterates the enemy with the next. This was shown by his kills during the final section.. where he was almost double the kills of the nearest team mate at times.
We will finish it tonight.. we just need less talking during and more focus.
Don't worry about what others are doing.. the only thing that should be mentioned is the locations of the teleports and the screams of "help me" when required.
Having the most kills but then repeatedly dying to Minotaurs suggests that it's all good for goblins just not for Minotaurs. You need to down them as quickly as possible as ultimately they are really the only things that will do you harm. Its why I recommend void weapons...
I could quite happily kill loads of goblins but thats not gonna help the team.

Anyone here with progress at the last boss? Just trying to complete it with my Titan, but can't seem to get a group together to do it. Like to get it done before the refresh so anyone up for that to say/tomorrow? Does DestinyLFG cater for part-raids as it just the annoying last part to do!

Sorry ended up being dragged into doing the raid from the start so still haven't finished the end boss still yet! I'd like to do it but not sure if Ill be around today and with PSN down tomorrow I guess the refresh will kick in before I can

And BTW thanks for helping us out yesterday, got all the way to the VoG, slowly but surely. Thanks also to R_Rabbit and LazyBoy for being the latejoiners when people disappeared! You guys did well with my ragtag group...

Oh assumed you did the final boss on the end without me, so didn't know if you wanted me on refresh, Fridays always easier for me due to weekend so I'd be interested. Good thing is I have my Titan at level 28 now so won't feel a burden!
Sorry to the other guys that asked - prefer to keep in the same group so it means quicker runs, but happy to be the random if I'm around and someone drops out...
