What's the likelihood of you getting to 29 by Saturday? Really would be helpful (trying not to sound like a **** but a 2 level disadvantage is tough - its like going to normal raid as a level 24)

I guess Saturday seems more popular from the replies - I can make most but its generally the day I'm more likely to arrange to go out - so might not make all. Also I guess I could do Friday normal with you using an alt so its kinda win-win. I'll see what others say :)

Guys I've ****ed up, I forgot to add Zhokel, who is a member here and on my regular group, when I made the list. It means Im gonna come over as a **** and say that it might be the case I can only for one of you in if all the regulars turn up.

I'm sorry I'm picking on you two but had to take into account that I wanted this to be a regular OcUK thing - I'll endeavour to include you guys but I can't guarantee both. Totally my mistake...

Sorry completely my fault - if there's interest I'd happily try and get a second group going to match times etc as I doubt that many people want to do the Raid on Hard that wouldn't want to attempt it regularly.

I forgot to say I'm in a similar position as you where my main group isn't high enough and I don't want them to push unneccesary - seems more people want to make alt characters as it evens out the grind when you are sat at level 28 on your main waiting for raid armour. I know a fair few here who have done Hard but adhoc and not as a regular thing - I can't why us OcUKers couldn't put a few teams together and make it regular and fun...

Just wanted to make sure everyone can make tomorrow - expectation is normal then hard. Ive already ran hard on my Warlock this week so likely to bring my Hunter or Titan - got some good ideas but love input from others as I know youve all had a go at it. Thinking defending the confluxes in the Templar fight and getting the two shields before Atheon are the real issues we need to think about - need luck on our sides.

My assumption is Atheon wont be patched by tomorrow either...

I had a lot of fun - its nice playing with people that are new to raid as the discovery of what you have to do is cool. I hope I avoided enough spoilers - it definitely took time but its just practise and progression every time you run it...

Zhoks, Maxi, Reeve and Soulja - that was a pleasure - can't believe we did Hard Mode in under 2 hours pretty much first time as a group. Nice target to aim for though I guess we need to think about the Atheon bumper fix!

As discussed I'll make next week Friday @ 7 provisionally and it seems we only need to run through on Hard to get both Normal/Hard rewards

GWS Soulja and UberGinge unlucky with the internet issues...

Uberginge I'm guessing you can't make the Hard Raid then this Friday? Most people were happier swapping off the weekend I'm afraid.

7pm - likely to be 2 hours minimum which is a good run time on Hard if stuff hasn't been patched...

I'll try and see if people are amenable about changing the day though I suspect Friday is best as Hard Raid can take long to get through - having the early time avoids the chance of having to finish it off on another day!

I'd prefer if you didn't as it might just mean loads do it - if a group needs a last minute replacement it makes sense to post here so at least with a fresh reply you know that person is on and can commit - an aged one really isn't that useful as they'll have to chase and hope you are online/have the time

Mines a Hard Raid and expectation is to keep the same people week in, week out (still interested in reserves). I am considering doing a second one on another day - just waiting for a critical mass of 29/30s asking to join our thing...

Get more experience at normal especially all the roles (really important). It seems with Hard you just cant afford to make a mistake or die. Hell we have the policy that we wipe when one dies - its saves a lot of time and frustration!!!

One problem I've seen is people come off a Normal raid as a 29 into Hard and just don't realise that they are effectively under levelled and just can't cope with not being revivable/taking more damage/doing less damage - noticed a similar thing with my main raid group when they move to their alts after being Sunsingers and not realising how much of a crux Fireborn is...

Got to doth my cap to high level hunters its really a hard class to master/enjoy when it comes to raiding!

I've noted your details so don't worry - anyone that's doing what you're doing and going out of your way to sort raids and stuff are worth having in a group

I'd definitely like to have a second group purely as I've got the characters ready for it and hot enough experience on both modes to be useful. I don't think I'm a great FPS player but use my nouce to cover my failings...

In all honesty I'd rather you not as 2 hours isn't enough time to do the raid on hard - its a fantastic time to do it in (I've seen people try to cheese Atheon for that long alone).

I've put you in a difficult position so completely understand your prior commitment as I'd be the same - I'd rather get a replacement full stop than consider not finishing the hard raid as there's just less people that can do it at a moments notice.

I think when I get this second Hard raid going I'll make sure to save you a space and ensure its definitely not intruding on your set raid day. Sorry...

It kinda sucks but I'd rather help with the Normal mode raid, so that more people get to understand the mechanics behind the raid. It'll help in the long run as more people can be sherpas and possible bring people up to Hard mode standards :)

My stance is that you'd shouldn't be hand held in the normal mode and learn it all yourself as it will make you worse at Hard mode. I'm sure you aren't doing this - just seems people are eager to get raiding done for the sake of rewards than to enjoy what the raid is especially the first time...

While Bungie keep making updates its more important for people to learn as much as they can while so over levelled.

I've not heard anything from Maxi yet myself :confused: - I assumed everyone could make it as no ones PSNed/posted here otherwise! :eek:
