Got 300 attack weapons? If you are 29+ it shouldnt be a massive issue beyond communication - just how long it takes to down stuff. Be prepared to use heavy ammo a lot when it starts to fall apart as thats where you just cant easily get it back

IME its all about communication and threat evaluation, the only reason I say 29+ is that at least it gives you some space between being ultra efficient and allowing any mistake to cause a wipe. Its strangely the goblins that are the issue, they just take too many bullets and thats when a domino effect happens once minotaurs/hobgoblins turn up and you lose those precious few seconds to spot/attack them

Also out of curiosity who here fancies trying the Raid on Hard tommorow? I think level 29s with comms and raid experience really - Sunsingers/Defenders/Gunslingers would be nice to have

The changes to raid on Tuesday dont excite me so perhaps we could attempt to try it with those 'rules' - dont try to push Atheon off right away and let anyone who hasnt got portal and non-portal experience to try it. Hell even the Templar stuff now has me scratching my head

Well my normal raid didnt happen, Ill be around but not that interested in being a reserve as was hoping to test out how the new changes next week will affect the Raid Hard run - I know Zhokel will do that for me anyway ;)

Uber you sure you don't wanna try it on Hard? Just gonna get harder while Bungie enforce the rules which is why I was saying to get it done sooner rather than later.

It does seem that there are quite a few people that have just cheesed the raid so with all these new rules even normal is now hard for them as having to learn to do it the proper way...

Oh just things like using the floating platform for the Templar fight (pretty much all that whole fight) that they already stopped and now tomorrow people won't be able to push Atheon off which seems to be the goto process on Hard Raids - no one even attempts to try it the normal way..

No real need to cheese it on normal really

Don't think you can revive yourself when you die from being marked - still trying to find a way to get the relic holder back up there but it seems unlikely once you figure the Templar is also shooting at him too ans the floating platforms strip you of the shield.

OK Im gonna start a regular Hard Raid team/clan in the vein of trying to get 6 regulars together to keep attempting it each week. Seems more sensible than attempting it PUG style - we can do the Raid on Normal (can be ran through in just over an hour) and then Hard so it covers both of them in one evening hopefully.

I thought Fridays at 7pm? Levels 29s+ with 300 attack weapons, knowledge of all the raid (shield use and inside/outside portals) and comms would be ideal - people I've raided with before would be great - whos interested?

You won't need to sign up every week but if there's spaces free due to people not making it I'll post in here. Would be great to just do this week in and week out as could just be a team we carry through the new Destiny raids...

The Raid on Hard isn't just a little bit harder so be mindful of that - seems you need to have a decent team where you aren't carrying anyone...

EDIT: I guess the time/day isn't hard and fast all the time - just chose the easiest day for me really...

EDIT2: Actually this might be better phrased as a raid clan more than anything

EDIT3: Will send some PSN messages to people I know from here that would be nice to have join too...

I already talked to them last night about finding a seperate group for hard raids, keep in mind I have never done the raid on hard mode before but I don't really encounter any difficulty on normal. I'm a level 29 Titan, my brother is about the same level of skill as I am and he's a level 29 Titan too so we would love to get into one of these sessions sometime.

Well I'll put you in, happy to have your brother in if he's done raids before but I'd like get an OcUK 'hard raid clan' sorted if possible. I know a few people who have done hard raid just have to go elsewhere to do it so rather get something regular together.

I'll put your bro in for now though! Hope that's ok - got his details?

Had to do the same with my Warlock as only got 1 raid armour drop. Got the raid helmet now but for weeks I was getting nothing.

My hunter on the other hand has only done it once and bam 2 pieces of raid armour - annoying as Im not a hunter fan for PvE - needs more skill than I possess at times...

TBH my requirements aren't hard and fast - just want a regular team together all working towards doing the raid on hard - seems frustrating to achieve that challenge any other way IME.

EDIT: If you wanna try this week and see if you feel like you need to be 29 I'm game? Won't have a couple of people anyway this week!

Just need one character to make it dude - dno how my alts have levelled up as all I've done with them is dailies/public and bounties. Only just started trying them in the normal raid but as Ive got so many materials I decided to get their armour up.

@ShakeNBake - Considering Drunzer and bro can't make it - wanna try it to see if you need to be 29? I'd always say it's essential but its not like you won't achieve that soon anyway. Added you to the 'reserves' if that's OK?

Happy to move to Saturday this week - unfortunately I'm at the footy tonight and on Thursday its Diwali so Friday and weekend is better. Most times I'm pretty available but Fridays are nice for gaming as always can have a lie in...

I think its likely to be Saturday this week to improve getting a capable 6, I'm happy to be flexible but want this to be as regular as clockwork as running the Raid on Normal and then Hard is going to take the full evening. I guess with a regular set of people we can sort that out each week in advance to try and get everyone on...
